Let’s just say — if you're expecting a little utopia, that’s probably your own dream, not what you’ll find here. The grounds are truly beautiful, no doubt about that. But everything else was quite disappointing. We booked the biggest and most expensive house, but when we arrived, they told us it hadn’t been cleaned — and offered us a tent for the night instead. We didn’t come here for a tent, we booked a house. There were no other options, so we ended up sleeping in the tent. It was new and clean, to be fair — but the area around it was just mud, not even gravel. Clearly the tents are a recent addition, and the surrounding area was still being worked on. The next day, we finally moved into the house... at 5 PM. And guess what? It still wasn’t really cleaned. We found big dirty pots with dried food in them. They did bring us clean pots and offered a free pizza as a gesture — which was nice, but didn’t really fix the whole experience. A beautiful place, but sadly, poor management and attention to detail ruined it for us.

The owners are lovely people. Everything is spotless at the pool which is in a beautiful setting. The peace here is supplemented by the birds. You get exactly what you pay for. Reasonably priced.

Camping La Aldea is located 1640 feet from the Andalucian village of El Rocio, just outside the Doñana National Park. This campground offers an outdoor swimming pool, football pitch and supermarket.
