The unique atmosphere of the house is giving a welcoming and relaxing feeling, while encouraging some interaction with other guests, for example during the shared dinner. The whole place is very beautiful, no details are missed. Huge thanks to the staff who was very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. Even though I could be spending all my time by the pool, I also enjoyed the surrounding areas full of nature and great for hiking and bike rides.

This is a fantastic establishment! Absolutely perfect for kids and in such a beautiful area! We loved the star gazing activities and the friendships ours child made whilst there. The staff were so friendly, especially the shop keeper! The lifeguard is very good and the kids activities were exceptional! Our child had so much fun! Beautiful surrounding area.

Where to start. Everything was wonderful! The location is at a lovely, beautiful Spanish village, where you can come home to relax after sightseeing the village itself or many other lovely places in the area/nearby (close by other lovely towns as Banyoles, Figueres (Dalí or other museums), Girona, Besalu, Olot and so on + no longer than an hour drive to Port Lligat, Cadaqués (Dalí and beautiful village anyhow), Vic and more). It’s perfectly situated and a perfect place to drive around to see Catalunya and come back to this great home base! The place is big enough and you have all the privacy. Also, there is enough parking space. The house is beautiful from the outside and inside and has so much character: typical Spanish and decorated with beautiful paintings, also of the famous owner Olga! The owners Olga & Llorrens are the most welcoming, kind, friendly and heartwarming persons. They live the Spanish saying: mi casa e su casa. A beautiful couple who made us feel very welcome from the beginning; they brighten up your day! They were also super helpful and gave several advice on where to go, to eat or what to see in the area. The breakfast was made with love everyday. The space was clean and our beds were great; we slept very well. I’ve been in southern Spain with friends and to work, then in Barcelona for work, and then I ended up here to spend some holidays and it was the best ending of my Spanish journey I could wish for. Thank you so much for the great stay! Highly recommended.

Everything - beautiful location and property. We stayed two nights and our only regret was that it wasn’t longer. We loved how quiet it was, the spectacular view, the pool, lovely furnishings and very comfortable beds. Very close to Besalu which was lovely to wander for a few hours.

We had an amazing time.. The house had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed here for 4 days and we just loved it.

Beautiful traditional farmhouse in idyllic location. Perfect if you wish to escape from busy life for a few days and value peace and tranquility and wish to experience a more natural, ‘basic’ way of living. It is recommended that you have a car as travel on public transport from Besalu is not straight forward and can be expensive. Sadly we had to leave early and unexpectedly. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us.

A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. the hotel was delightful but we found the all-night church clock chimes a bit intrusive!

The property looked too good to be true on the listing - But that was not the case! It exceeded our expectations with its decor, layout and incredible location. A perfect apartment. An amazing view out back, and a swimming pool on the side. What more could you want! Literally seconds from some of the best restaurants and sights in the town.

The most amazing views! We stayed in the bungalows. Staff very helpful even though minimal english. The beds were very comparable, cabins were clean. Air con worked well, unfortunately couldn’t leave the door open to get the breeze as lots of insects (a screen door would minimise the need for the AC). It was brilliant thank you

The house is beautiful, set in a stunning part of Catalunya. The owners live on the site and are incredibly helpful, yet the space we had felt very private and we were able to socialise in the various spaces, have BBQs etc without worrying about disturbing anyone. The property has everything you could need, including dishwasher tablets, hairdryers and more. There's a table tennis table, badminton net and the swimming pool is perfectly maintained!

Great location for a family that wants to spend time in nature. Everything was super clean and thoughtful especially for those with a baby like us. Communication was also really good. We’ll be back!
