Absolutely loved it. Great experience in a cave house. Has everything you need for a great stay and more. We stayed for 4 nights and ventured out each day to see sights. Easy access to the highway to explore the region. Very friendly and helpful staff. Manuel is great and let us choose any of the available houses. All are amazing so you can't go wrong. Manuel took us on a tour of "end of the earth". You shouldn't miss it. Cleaning staff are fantastic and very helpful. Pool is great to cool off on those hot days. The surroundings and views are beautiful. The cave houses are very functional and provide an unique experience. Being Canadian, we actually found the caves a little warm.........probably perfect for most people. We would have loved to light a fire but just too hot for us. Really enjoyed sitting out at night with a bottle of wine. Bed was a little hard for us but everyone has personal preference. Grounds are natural for the setting. Easy to enjoy, loved the experience, loved the people. Highly recommended.

Location was perfect. The style of the property was fantastic, the under-floor heating was a real bonus. The wifi was around 75-85 Mbs and very stable. Settee and beds were very comfy. The bathroom was huge and the shower was very good

Truly exceptional lodging just a few kilometers from Guadix. As the name suggests, this is a cave house typical of the region. That’s why staying in one is such a highlight. Inside, it’s modern and comfortably furnished with everything you need. It was also very clean. In front of the house, there are seating and lounging areas surrounding the small, curved pool, which offers a wonderful way to cool off. At the same time, you have a view of the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada. Here, you can wonderfully enjoy the afternoon and evening sun, along with the friendly neighborhood cats. The cave is located at the end of a quiet dead-end street, so there is no car traffic here and it is absolutely quiet. Alcudia de Guadix is a small, quiet village with a small supermarket, as well as a bakery & café and a pizzeria & bar, where the locals like to meet. We had the impression that we were pretty much the only tourists here at the time.  The accommodation was a great base for excursions, e.g., to the Badlands of Gorafe or Purullena, and for exploring Guadix (about a 10-minute drive). So if you want to do a little something in the evening, the town isn’t far away. We enjoyed the peace and quiet on the terrace. Communication with host Encarni was digital and went very smoothly. We felt completely at home, would have loved to stay much longer, and can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.
