This Pension is on the Camino Frances... important to note if you are walking Camino Del Norte as you will have to detour back out of Arzua down a 2km hill to this site. And retrace your steps the next day. Oops! If you are on the Frances, this is a perfect stop and very comfy Pension. Washing Machine and Dryer available, great bar and restaurant right across the lane. Swimming pool is lovely and spots to relax.

Beautiful location outside of Santiago de Compostela. Great staff, and a beautiful dog called Johann. As another user said: Trash your navigation system, ignore Google directions "and proceed to Melide-Agolada road, where the hotel is clearly signposted about 1-2 km from Agolada". When you enter into Eidian, turn right where a small open place is. That's the parking lot in front of the great entrance door (don't turn left...it'll take you 2km for finding a a turning-back possibility).

This small hostel was a welcome relief after walking on a cold rainy day. Walking into the front door, seeing local folks and pilgrims relaxing was nice. The dorm room was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean. Being tired, I stayed in to have the pilgrim dinner, but was alone. My selection was fish, and it was cooked perfectly. The young lady serving me allowed me to use the table after dinner to do my daily journal entry. This was a very nice stop.
