Nice room, really lovely hosts, they even picked us up from the pub after a storm so we wouldn’t get drenched walking back. Lots of great info about the town. Very quiet location, secure parking and the pool was very enjoyable after a hot day. Would highly recommend.

We loved every single second spent at the château! Such an amazing place for charging your batteries in the middle of nature. The caste itself is gorgeous, and I've never met staff more friendly than at this place! Will definitely come back!

Quite exceptional! A small chateau restored by the very friendly and helpful owner-builder and his wife into a luxurious spa-hotel. Our suite was opulent, with a large and very comfortable bedroom, separate sitting room, and huge brand new bath/shower room. There is also a sitting area shared with other guests, plus a coffe-tea room, and a swimming pool and gym in a separate room. Top top it all, there are panoramic views for kilometers over the fields behind the hotel. And all at a very modest cost. And Nevers is a really splendid small town full of history and architectural gems.

We asked to arrive early, and they had got our room ready. It was cool in the heatwave and well equipped for a little self catering (big supermarkets nearby). We enjoyed cooling off in the pool (though too small for swimming), and sitting admiring the view of the grounds.
