Had a lovely big easy access room which was a short walk from reception etc…bathroom enormous and everything needed was in there. All Dove toiletries. Breakfast was excellent and, for once, coffee was tasty and hot. Something we never seem to find in hotels…all in all, a lovely stay..

It's a clean and tidy hotel at a very good cost. Good bar and food area. The rooms are spacious for the price and the bed was comfortable.. overall for a well priced hotel it's excellent.

Neighboring Leeds Castle, the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel is built around a Georgian country house with 26 acres of private grounds.

The hotel design was modern and all interiors plus lighting were very good. All the staff on reception, in the restaurant, the bar and around the hotel were very efficient, friendly and went out of their way to help. The car park was good too.
