For my first visit to Sumba island I have chosen this place to stay and it was the best decision. From the first moment I felt so warmly welcomed. The villa itself is beautiful, comfortable, the views to the ocean are fantastic. And the staff makes your stay so very special. They could not be more attentive, kind and gentle. Sumba beach house is just gorgeous. Location epic, staff super helpful and polite, rooms comfy. They can also organzie an airport pick up, horse back riding etc. Beautiful.

The hotel is beautifully designed and in a beautiful area very close to some picturesque beaches. The staff are very friendly and attentive and make it easy to organise trips and activities so you can experience Sumba. Surf lessons are a lot of fun and the village tour and waterfall tour are both great. Cocktails were really good, as was the food at breakfast. The hotel seems to have a good relationship with the local people and seems to have genuinely benefitted Sumba.
