Staff is very corteous right from the property manager to everyone else... they never said no to anything that we asked for be it additinal towels, toiletries, bonefire by the pool, dinner by the pool, music arrangements, sweets, getting the indoor games and anything else. It might seem too good to be true a review, however the entire experience was a true example of customer centricity.

We stayed at this resort in October, right after the monsoon—an ideal time thanks to the lush surroundings and a rain-fed river flowing just in front of the property. The location is tranquil and close to nature, which made our nature walk with Vinod Budhani, organized by the resort, especially memorable. The nature walk is a wonderful activity with kids, and we even spotted a couple of deer along the way. There’s a well-maintained kids’ play area, several indoor and outdoor games, and a clean swimming pool perfect for family fun. Relaxing on the rocks by the river bed is a unique way to unwind, fully immersed in the peaceful surroundings. Food was delicious—tasty and plentiful, with chefs Vinod Negi and Soban Singh happily customizing dishes to suit our palate and plenty of à la carte options. The food service team, including Deepak Arya and Gaurav, provided attentive and polite service throughout our stay. The rooms matched the photos exactly, with comfortable beds, a spotless ambience, and polite, attentive staff who made our stay pleasant. All in all, it’s a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a close-to-nature getaway with family-friendly activities and great hospitality.

I recently stayed at Resort De Coracao in Corbett, it is a very big resort well maintained, i enjoyed the game area we played badminton basket ball also so many option in indoor games, and it was a wonderful experience with SPA The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained with modern amenities and excellent view from room.I also enjoyed the food at the in-house restaurant specially the buffet breakfast. The Golden Task is just a few minutes’ walk from two of the national park entrances. It is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained, with plenty of trees, lawns, two swimming pools, and an outdoor and indoor bar. Our Garden Suite was spacious and perfectly equipped. It also had a small terrace facing the garden. The exceptionally friendly staff are particularly noteworthy; they are always very attentive and always strive to fulfil every request as quickly as possible. This applies to the garden, housekeeping, reception and restaurant staff alike. The food is varied and excellent. Even special requests (Italian pasta) were fulfilled without any problems. I can therefore recommend the resort without reservation. You won’t find anything significantly better in this area.

JJR is a find! Let me break this down for you. The Retreat- it is a 15 acre agricultural land adjacent to Jim Corbett buffer zone. It is reforested and the layout and the architecture beautifully conforms to its ethos of being a nature resort. Accommodation- we stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom cottage. The cottage was spacious with an old world Dak Bungalow charm but with all modern amenities .The decor and furnishings are tasteful and comfortable and in keeping with the theme of the Retreat. Our cottage had a great verandah with super comfy seating. The cottage has a lot of privacy thanks to the many trees and shrubs that surround each cottage. These natural screens attract a delightful variety of birds that chirped and twittered throughout the day. Facilities- There's a two storied cafe overlooking the buffer zone, a poolside dining area that's quite spacious, a nicely sized swimming pool, spa and yoga room, a fairly large gathering room where one can play board games or just sit and relax in the evenings. There's a bar and a good library with books on wildlife as well as my childhood favourites, Asimov and Alistair Maclean. JJR also arranges safaris to Jim Corbett. A hassle free premium experience worth every penny. We went to Jhirna and Bijrani. USP- JJR is a mini sanctuary in itself and there's a nicely constructed nature trail within the retreat with water bodies, bamboo thickets and a machan with comfy chairs to sit. Its a birdwatcher's delight. The naturalists at JJR are knowledgeable and ready to guide the guests. Every evening the retreat screens documentaries on conservation which were very interesting. Food- there's limited choice of food but prepared really well, especially the Kumaoni delicacies. there's no room service as there are small animals around. the staff is courteous, pleasant and ready to help. JJR is immaculately maintained and very clean.

This is a very good property and extremely comfortable for families. Your children will enjoy the multiple play areas, swimming pool, and various cultural programs organized by the property. Apart from that, the food is excellent and offers a great variety of options. We had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay. Overall, it is a great property for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, and I would highly recommend it for families and groups.
