Absolute gem of a hotel nestled on the quiet side of the creek. We had the Palm Deck room which was beautifully thatched with gorgeous views over the pool and garden. This peaceful oasis really impressed us with its helpful staff and incredible chefs. The room was really clean, the bed super comfortable and even the body wash in shower was lovely. The breakfast is very very good, but honestly the chef was amazing so every meal we had for 5 days was ridiculously tasty. The hotel has a real beach vibe with comfy loungers, sofas and hammocks. The bar was well stocked and the ferry service to Watamu town was very handy (however we only actually left hotel to go to Watamu once, got slightly harassed at the market so came straight back to the hotels sanctuary)! The pool is salt water so if you don’t like a non chloride smelling and feeling pool you might not enjoy it as much as I did. All in all the Mida Creek hotel was perfect for us as it’s very quiet, nice chill atmosphere, clean rooms, great food and friendly staff. We met the owner who was smashing and loved the dog and cats. Will definitely be back.

The outdoors has never felt quite this homely. Stefano Pelloni and his wonderful family set out to create a resort centered on "oneness with nature," and they have truly delivered. Every inch of the property is meticulously curated to maintain a heavenly vibe that follows you wherever you go. The lodges offer a beautiful "traditional homestead" feel, but the Bush Bubble Lodge was the highlight for me. It provides such a deep sense of seclusion that while chilling inside, I completely forgot I was in a shared resort. The setup is incredible: outdoor furniture, ambient path lighting, a hammock swing, a catamaran net, and even an outside shower. Inside the bubble, you’ll find a sitting room, bedroom, and full amenities. It’s the kind of place you visit and never want to leave. I could honestly write a book about it, but I’ll let my top highlights speak for themselves. My Top 12 Highlights 1. Genuine Hospitality: From the owners to the staff, everyone is cordial and professional. You feel welcomed in every single interaction. 2. Room Service: They offer complimentary room service (having breakfast delivered to your lodge upon request). 3. The LichtHaus Access: Enjoy free boat rides to and from LichtHaus throughout the day. 4. Evening Bonfires: Perfectly placed bonfire spots are lit every evening. 5. Pool & Jacuzzi: A beautiful swimming pool with an adjoining jacuzzi for ultimate relaxation. 6. The Bubble Spa: The private bathtub/spa setup within the Bush Bubble is a dream. 7. The Jungle Gym: This felt like a real-life extension of The Flintstones! It’s incredibly unique; I’ve never seen anything like it. 8. Hammocks Everywhere: They are scattered throughout the bar, pool, and gym (you’re never far from a place to lounge). 9. Poolside Swings: As a "bouncing baby girl" at heart, I absolutely loved these. 10. Dining: The Red Lobster and Calamari dishes at the restaurant are standout meals. 11.

The room was big and the bed comfortable. I loved staying at temple point. Lichthaus and the gym are a big plus. The pool is also big enough to actually do laps.

Rafiki tamu was super amazing,it was very clean,the pool and the view was breath taking.The front desk reception ladies were very helpful.The break fast was very yummy.The chefs Neema and Shauri cooked for us and even did our final night dinner.Pendo and the rest of the house keeping service was top notch with clean beddings,our clothes were cleaned and ironed every day.we really enjoyed our stay at Rafiki tamu and will be back again.i recommend anyone travelling for work or leisure who just wants a peaceful enviroment to just clear your head.Also all the workers in Rafiki tamu were super helpful with everything we needed.

Benjamin was so helpful and welcoming. The space and layout of the site is incredible. The tent ⛺️ was well equipped with a spacious bed, fan, lamp and plugs. There is a good amount of space to find quiet sun beds to rest in the breeze. Pool was great! Generally a fantastic first visit- will most likely be back.

The cottages were very private, in a great location and well equipped. The pool was lovely and access to the beach was very easy. Our 2 bed cottage had a lovely little kitchen which we used a lot. But we also used the restauraunt which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially our Dada, Hariette. We have already recommended it to friends.

Everything was superb. Room was great, delightful cottages in tropical gardens & staff friendly. Fabulous sea view from bar, dining area & pool. Excellent breakfast & pool both top highlights.

The stay was perfect right when I booked it. The host Abubakar who is the best host you’ll ever encounter sent me videos and photos of the place just for us to get a clear image of the place and the facilities which are amazing and on arrival it was exactly the same as we were welcomed by the host who showed us around and answered any questions we had. It’s a beautiful white villa with a modern look and perfect for that holiday villa you are looking for with the location right near the main watamu areas and activities from Watamu mall to the beach and anywhere else you would need to go, the swimming pool is perfect for all age groups with daily cleaning aswell as daily cleaning of the villa. The staff are amazing and are always there if you need anything. Highly recommend. Thank you for having us Abubakar!
