Everything. Whitney is a wonderful host - nothing is too much and will help in organising taxis for your visit. The room is huge & comfortable and includes a kitchen area. Perfect location, on the hill, overlooking the town and Pitons. Only a 10 min walk to the beach and local shops. The pool is an added bonus. Would absolutely stay again! Thanks Whitney 😊

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet (well if u don’t count the bird/frog sounds but those are the real sounds you would sometimes hear in spas being played through speakers). The view is astonishing. This is the best part of this place. Honestly I only booked 2 nights because I didn’t know if I’d make it for these dates thinking that since this is the cheapest hotel I booked out of all 3 of mine, I won’t regret not making it. I was wrong. It’s really beautiful. The rooms are very clean. I don’t know how people mention anything about insects but I didn’t see any in my room at any point. Yes, outside you will see little lizards, some ants and a lot of birds. That’s it. The breakfast was good but if I’d go again I’d take mainly fruits, egg portion was a bit small and nothing amazing. The fruits, tho, bruh, they were aaaaamaaazimg. Especially the mango because the grows in their garden. Pool I haven’t tried, it’s cleaned daily tho. Overall I would really give it a 10/10. Especially for the price.

Our stay at tranquil villas was absolutely amazing!! The staff was super welcoming and kind. Our room was spacious and clean. It was very convenient to have breakfast and lunch included and the food was great. We highly recommend to stay here, it couldn’t have been better :)

The perfect mix of being away from the town and having gorgeous nature views all around you but only a few km's from everything. Very spacious unit and private. Eateries close by, including only steps to Chocolat. Friendly hosts just upstairs who were more than helpful, they felt like family.

We spent 9 nights at Amazon villas, whiic is located in the pretty village of Fond St Jaques within easy access to Soufrière by bus. We found the locals very welcoming there. The owner Conrad and his staff were very friendly. The maid did a few washings for us, and changed our towels regularly, which was very handy. The owner provided a taxi service for us when we could not find a car, and he eventually found us a good car hire at a fair price. The location is perfect within 20 min to half an hour of all the major attractions of St Lucia. The residence is beautiful and the pool is surounded by the stunning rainforest. There are a few shops for basic stuff and a couple of bars and a restaurant within walking distance. We loved our stay at Amazon villas and can recommend it unreservedly. It was our favourite part of our stays on the island. This is the place to come to if you want to experience authentic St Lucia and get to know the friendly locals. Conrad taught us some basic greetings in Creole, which made the locals smile each time and warm up to us.

The views are just unreal, especially being right by Gros Piton. Waking up to that every day never got old. It’s also really close to Sugar Beach, which is absolutely stunning and definitely worth the short drive. Also a short drive away from the beautiful town of Soufriere and also the Sulphur Springs and waterfalls. The apartments are really spacious and have everything you need — it genuinely felt like a home away from home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and really welcoming. The pool is lovely too, perfect for a chilled afternoon. Nadia was just brilliant — so helpful and kind, and she really went above and beyond for us. She made everything so easy and was always there if we needed anything. We didn’t drive, but that wasn’t a problem at all because Jamal took us everywhere. He was so friendly and reliable, and really reasonably priced, which made getting around so easy. The breakfasts were also such a highlight — really generous and delicious, and just a nice touch that made the stay feel extra special. Overall, it was amazing value for money and we’d go back in a heartbeat.

I loved the natural setting, it can be a lot of stairs depending on where your room is. The restaurant, bar and pools are great to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Soufriere and the Petit Piton. We would definitely come back to this place.

Rooms/ cabins feel very secluded & private, beautifully furnished, surrounded by plants and wildlife. Restaurant is great, breakfast is lovely. Much better & more local style food than we found at any other hotel/resort restaurants we ended up eating at. The pool area is delightful, really well laid out for privacy so different groups can have their own areas. It would be a perfect setting for a pool party! The location is perfect for all the nearby forest/ volcano based activities and for getting to Soufrière and nearby beaches. I would definitely advise hiring a car so you have more freedom to explore independently; things look close together on a map but it’s very hilly and obviously very hot so walking anywhere takes much longer than predicted. This is not really a resort, it doesn’t feel like a resort, the clientele were not “resort types”… which is a big positive in our book! It is eco-luxury accommodation ie. as luxurious as one can reasonably expect whilst staying in the middle of gorgeous rainforest and trying to minimise impact on that environment.
