We stayed at Villa Honu Legends for 10 days with our two boys (ages 6 and 8), and it was absolutely incredible. Booking was simple and the payment was safe and secure. From start to finish, communication with both the host and the local guide, Jenny, was excellent. We felt well taken care of the entire time. The directions to the villa were clear and easy to follow. We arrived a little before the official check-in time, so the villa wasn’t quite ready yet, but we were able to leave our groceries there, which was really helpful. A quick tip: pick up groceries at the Champion supermarket near the ferry before heading to the villa — it’s about a 35-minute drive, and the selection is much better than smaller markets closer to the villa. As for the villa itself — it was extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen. We weren’t missing a single thing: blender, toaster, pots, pans, utensils, cups, everything you might need. It made cooking so easy and enjoyable. The bedrooms are on the smaller side but perfect for a family. We were thrilled that the second bedroom had two twin beds — not always easy to find, but absolutely ideal for our boys. The AC in the bedrooms worked perfectly. The bathroom setup was also great — the toilet is separate from the shower, which makes mornings much easier when everyone’s getting ready. The shower even has a beautiful view! But the real showstopper is the deck, overlooking the stunning lagoon. There’s a jacuzzi, an outdoor dining area, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Jenny, the local guide, was amazing. She helped us find a place where the kids could go for a few hours so we can enjoy one kids free day, responded quickly to all our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were also able to request additional cleanings during our stay (around $100 per cleaning), which was so convenient. We had a truly unforgettable experience and can’t wait to return!

The quiet and solitude of the place was really great. The pool and beach are across the street but that was not a problem. It was really great to have Snack Moana across the street for lunch meals each day. The refrigerator and microwave in the unit made meals easily done.
