The setting of this hotel resort property in Ilocas Norte was stunning. Nice room. Authentic Spanish colonial doors and trim. The clean, well-maintained Infinity pool and Vista over the lake toward the former "northern Malacang" (which apparently has a museum dedicated to Marcos) were hard to beat. A rare find and a peaceful getaway! Good meals (dinner and breakfast). Management was very professional, and friendly in conversation. Rooms have great air-conditioning.

I had a great stay at Balai Balatong while on a business trip. The room was well-maintained, and the bed was super comfortable. The service was excellent, and the swimming pool was a great bonus. Looking forward to my next visit!

The staff are very nice, the guard always helps us get a tricycle whenever we need to go out on a nearby place. Room is spacious and we have view of the pool. I just hope the lobby is well ventilated since sometimes, it tends to be very hot.
