Nice hotel on an amazing place.

Amazing location directly on the shore of the Iron Gates lake. You can go swimming at the lake directly from the terrace if you are brave enough (the water was surprisingly warm in August). For those not brave enough there is a nice outdoor tempered swimming pool one floor above. The apartment was clean and spacious. It is in a quiet area 3km past the city of Orsova.

The place has everything you could need for a confortable stay. We apreciated the fully equipped kitchen, the dining room and the pool. You can even buy jem made by the oner.

The stay was absolutely fabulous. The bed was amazing I didn’t turn even once. Slept like a baby. Room is very big and spacious, the bathroom also. The hosts are awesome people, we checked in late, they stayed with us and had a beer, talked about history. Very warm and kind people. The pool is a must on a hot day.

Location was great and beds were comfortable

Beautiful house wonderfully decorated rooms and well kept gardens. Wonderful views from the top of the hill, just a few minutes walk behind the house. Extra points for the excellent shower water pressure!

We stayed here as a group of five and had a really comfortable experience. We rented a separate part of the house, which included two comfortable bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area with a sofa bed. Both bedrooms had air conditioning, which made the stay especially comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and available for us to use, so we had everything we needed during our stay. The hosts were very kind, welcoming, and helpful. They were always available whenever we needed anything and made us feel very comfortable. The area is also very peaceful and quiet, which was perfect for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep. An added bonus is that the owner also offers cruises on the Danube, which is a lovely experience and definitely worth considering. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful stay with friendly and helpful hosts.

We only stayed here for one night, but we were made to feel very welcome. The owners couldn’t do enough for us. It was very relaxing and we were allowed to stay a few more hours at the swimming pool after check out.

It is one of the coolest places i have stayed at. Amazing staff, and location. I cannot wait to return. Eating on their terrace is just a treat.

WOW! What an experience it was. The host (Ms. Florentina) is the best example of hospitality and friendliness. Served us always with a smile. So personable. The food was delicious and plenty. The room was very clean and spacious and with a wonderful view of the Danube. We will be back. Thank you! We wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location, very clean, extreemely kind staff ready to help with everything is needed. The kitchen and the barbecue facilities are well equipped. Rooms are very clean, beds are confortable
