The apartment looks exactly like the pictures: modern, beautiful, and very clean. The staff were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful, which made our celebration even more special. FranceWords can’t adequately describe how wonderfully warmly we were received at Villa Keur Bibou. A beautiful house filled with tribal art and curiosities, a private boat to ferry you back and forth whenever you desire, expert local knowledge at your fingertips, a ride from the airport, all this organised without charge or fuss. Not to mention the surprise jacuzzi and aperitif, the warm and lovely staff who think of everything, are always nearby when you need them and completely invisible otherwise, and should you be lucky enough to meet Michel himself, well he’ll make you feel like you’re a visiting dignitary. I’ve travelled extensively, both with and without my family, and cannot recommend a stay here highly enough. They really care that you are comfortable, have everything you need or could want, and bend over backwards to make your stay perfect. 12 out of 10.
Also worth mentioning that if you’re new to Dakar or Senegal the Île de Ngor is a great place to begin your stay. Removed from the hustle and bustle it packs in a lot of interest for its small size.

United KingdomI made a great decision by trying the new Sama Hotels. All the staff members were really welcoming and helpful, especially Ernest and Eli/Wili. It’s well located with many restaurants, coffee shops and even a great souvenir boutique nearby. The food and the drinks at the rooftop restaurant and breakfast were amazing, they clearly use good quality ingredients. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Well situated. Some nice restaurants in the neighborhood and the hotel restaurant as decent too. Very clean, spacious and quiet rooms. Breakfast was good, except for the coffee which was horrendous (burned?). Nice rooftop swimming pool and view.

Union Amicale Corse is a welcoming and friendly place located right on the Rte de la Corniche. It has access to a tiny beach, as well as a clean (if sometimes busy) swimming pool. Very friendly staff, with regulars passing by daily for a coffee, beer, or a game of jeu de boules. The outdoor restaurant serves a nice menu of French / Corsican food, and their pizzas are superb. Room wasn't large, but totally adequate, comfortable and clean.
