Hotels with Pools in Chanthaburi

Beautiful room, right next to the river. Absolutely beautiful views from the balcony. Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice.

The hotel was very nice about the design and the location. It’s easy to go to shopping mall and the old market. The translation was easy to book (grab and bolt). The breakfast was so great they’ve 3 set for you to choose. This hotel’s very new clean and modern. The staff were nice and helpful. I’ll be back again next time.😊👍🏻👍🏻

I usually don't like to stay in hotels, even the best and most famous ones. But the experience at Baan Rim Ao was exceptional! We planned a trip to Chanthaburi for two days to see the local sights and visit the jewelry market and didn't book the hotel in advance. We looked at what was available on booking for a reasonable price with 4 stars. 

 The hotel is not in the town itself but in a picturesque area near farms on the bay. We checked in not in tourist season and there was another couple from China staying in the entire hotel besides us. How surprised we were when in the evening a group of musicians came to the restaurant (there was even a saxophonist) and arranged a whole concert for us alone. And when they brought us the menu, we couldn't believe that the oysters cost no more than 160 Bt. We decided to try it and it turned out to be the best oysters in our life - the freshest and tender. 

 The staff is a separate story. No one speaks enough English to communicate with the guest. This is not a chain hotel where the staff is trained to international standards. And that's a good thing. Because they do everything with heart and full dedication to their work. No even the highest standards can reproduce this family atmosphere.

 We liked everything very much, down to the smallest detail. And we have also never seen such a perfectly clean pool! The man who takes care of the pool is a god in his business.
 I think Baan Rim Ao Hotel is the crown jewel of Chanthaburi.

Everything was cleaned and well maintained.

An absolutely lovely little gem of a place a little way out of Chanthaburi (Rent a scooter from speedy scooters right at the bus terminal. ) It is impeccably clean and nice and quiet. We had the place to ourselves Lovely pool overlooking a Lake We did trips out each day 3 days is enough

The staff of the hotel was great, they made us feel at home immediately and helped us with all our requests. The restaurant is also great, diverse options and great quality.

By far the best hotel we stayed in on our most recent trip to Thailand. Staff were friendly. Rooms were modern, classy and huge (more like a suite than a standard room). Nice pool and facilities.

Very Nice little Cabins, Great change of scenery compared to the usual hotel rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool just topped it all off. Breakfast is great.

Peace and tranquility....after leaving Bangkok...this was a place where we got peace and a good sleep 😴😪.. ..the place is clean and modern...has a swimming pool and is not crowded with tourists... like an oasis! Maybe at first it seems they don't got everything, but will provide you with whatever you want!...... Just ask! ...taxi, coffee, ice cream, alcohol..... everything you desire! 😘 Special thank 2 the receptionist girl..(am really sorry 2 forgot her name) 10 stars...and more she deserves! 😘 Beds perfect... cleaning ladies excellent! Love U guys 🤟 😘

Location. Nice clean hotel, breakfast set menu choice plus cereal, toast and cakes

It was clean, easy check in and check in and check out, gorgeous to look at of a morning across the pool, close to shops ect

Loved the modern and clean rooms and being able to just step out in the morning or evening for a cool down in the pool. Showers were great and good pressure. Beds were super comfortable. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. I'm vegan myself and the staff serving breakfast made sure to check ingredients before ordering the vegetarian dish.

A wonderful peaceful place to stay. The staff were great. Room was spotless, big bed, drinking water and fresh towels provided every day. The pool area was superb. Fantastic swimming pool too. The location is remote but not difficult to find, just don't plan on walking to a 7-11 as there isn't anything walking distance. There is a peaceful calm vibe that the staff have created and it should be respected. If you're not the quiet type then a hotel in town would probably suit you better. Top tip though, don't expect to get a taxi on Bolt or Grab apps on a Sunday morning. The staff were truly amazing and I'm so grateful for their help.

Location: not too far from a main road, so it's easy to get to, but far enough that it's quiet. Bonus points. Mini pool; more for kids and lounging around than swimming. The refreshments corner is a great touch, with free water and freshly brewed coffee and cookies from 5 a.m. till 1 p.m. It would be great if they offered proper food options, too, like dinner or breakfast. The nearest restaurant is about a mile away, and without lamp posts and street lights (which weren't working as we arrived), it's not a walk I'd appreciate. However, we liked the vibes and the decor, and the front desk staff were nice (and spoke English, another bonus point)
