The staff was extremely nice, there was a thai style breakfast served every morning and the cleanliness of the place was superb. They offered to rent a motorbike for 200b a day and a bicycle for free. There is a café by the house for coffee and even some bites.

Retro Box was an unexpectedly positive experience. The owners managed to shade and insulate the metal containers in a way that it was nice and cool inside. There were quite a few rooms overlooking the pool (ours didn't, but it was better this way as those seemed a little bit smaller). Breakfast was delicious, staff were polite, beds were comfortable - we loved it so much that we were the last ones to check out, after reluctantly stopping all that pleasant lounging pool side. In short, we loved it, and would highly recommend it to others. Great job, 👍 well done!

The staff was incredibly friendly and treated us like family. The rooms were clean, and the shower had great pressure and hot water. We had an early morning flight and the hotel arranged a cheap shared shuttle van for us, and since we left before breakfast started, they packed a breakfast bento for us with a generous portion, and even accommodated our vegan diet. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again the next time I travel from Koh Tao back to Bangkok!
