A Remarkable Anniversary Stay at The Mora Zanzibar I recently stayed at The Mora Hotel in Zanzibar, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Exceptional Hospitality & Leadership The check-in process was seamless, especially since I had already used the mobile app. We were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, but what truly stood out was the personal touch from the General Manager (GM). He came specifically to welcome us on our first day, and throughout our stay, he was visible every day, checking in to ensure we were having a perfect experience. Special Anniversary Touches When the GM learned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, he personally took the initiative to arrange a beautiful setup in our room. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our celebration even more special. Dining & Services The culinary experience was outstanding. There are about five restaurants on-site, and every single one served delicious, high-quality food. • The Main Restaurant: I was impressed that it stays open 24/7, providing excellent service and great meals at any hour. • Pool & Beach: There are three large pools, and the service at both the pools and the beach was top-notch. Atmosphere & Safety The entire staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. We also felt very safe as security was present and attentive throughout the resort. Additionally, the daily activities and evening shows were entertaining and a great way to end the day. The Grand Finale: Late Check-out Since our flight was late in the evening, the GM went above and beyond by granting us a complimentary late check-out until 5:00 PM. He even extended our access to the restaurants and bars as part of the stay, which was incredibly generous and much appreciated. Verdict A huge thank you to the management, the GM, and the entire team for their hospitality. They truly made our stay beautiful. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room decoration and the sea view were simply stunning, making it a truly special experience. The common areas, especially the dining space, were beautifully decorated and had such a relaxing atmosphere, also overlooking the ocean. The service was outstanding — the staff were always attentive and willing to help with any needs I had, which made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better: just 100m from a diving center, 200m from the local village, and right by the sea. It was the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing yet unforgettable stay by the ocean.

Staff members were friendly and the food was great. There isn’t much to do outside the resort but it’s a perfect place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and nice. You can eat, drink, soak up the sun and relax the whole time there.

I made this reservation for my husband and son, because I stayed in Villa Kiva 4 years earlier and it was amazing. They enjoyed the hospitality and the food. The owner was very friendly and very much focused on delivering the best customer experience.

I absolutely adored the garden and the pools. Staff was most welcoming and helpful in all matters. In the Bungalows there was a lot of room and they were as nice as you can see from the photos 😊 … i also enjoyed the massage with local oils very much.

The pictures do not do justice to this place.Rashid is such an amazing human so friendly and welcoming, our flight wad delayed for 5+ hours but he still waited for us and made sure someone was waiting for us at the airport. Everything, the staffs are more than kind and helpful. They care for us like we were part of their family. Everybody who work there, want to help us with everything. The apartment is super clean and every day our feeling was that we are coming on our first day. Perfect location, spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent air conditioning, delicious meals, and incredibly friendly staff! Despite a minor misunderstanding regarding our full-board option, everything else was absolutely perfect. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place to others!

The hotel is perfect for those seeking relaxation and tranquility. The beach is stunning, the staff always friendly and helpful, and the cuisine is delicious. The rooms are meticulously cared for, and mine had a breathtaking view of the ocean. This hotel is ideal for a peaceful and restful holiday. I will definitely be returning.

I had a great time at Coconut Villa Zanzibar. I especially appreciated the privacy of the villa, the private swimming pool, and the fully equipped kitchen, which made the stay very comfortable. The level of privacy also gives the place a feeling of true luxury. It is a perfect place for longer stays as this is the place where you easily get relaxed. A lovely surprise was the starter breakfast package and the small refreshments prepared upon arrival. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and very comfortable. As a self-catering villa, it gives you complete freedom during your stay, while still offering many beachside refreshment and dining options nearby. If you book the ocean view villa, you will probably not even use the television because you will spend your time enjoying all the beautiful shades of blue from the ocean view. The villa is also a great spot for visiting some of Zanzibar’s most popular attractions, such as Mnemba Island, which you can see directly from Matemwe beach, spice tours, Nungwi, and swimming with turtles. This place is truly an amazing spot for complete relaxation. I would highly recommend it both for families and for bigger groups of friends looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

The location was amazing with great view to the Indian Ocean. Though we couldn’t swim there because of the tide and the urchins, the views and the walks on the sand were spacracular. The food was really good and tasty. The people friendly and had great hospitality. I will definitely recommended.
