I like that it was in a less popular spot of Zanzibar! The beach was really nice. The hotel is also so beautiful, very well decorated and true luxury. The staff are super nice- Abdelhamid, Boniface, Rose, and Hassan made our stay so comfortable. We were greeted with such warmth and that stayed throughout. The food and drinks were really good too!

The lunch and dinner were amazing. I enjoyed every dish. Compliments to the chef! The room was beautiful, and the staff was so caring. The drinks were great but could be a little stronger (just me).

Manolo was much more than what we've expected! Friendly caring staff. Facilities great. As it is recently renovated, everything is brand new in the rooms. Good quality linen with excellent housekeeping (everyday). The swimming pool overlooks the ocean. Perfect seaviews from the bar area. A good menu at the restaurant with great food. Christmas buffet dinner with entertainment was very special. This was a great place to rest at.

We had an amazing week staying in the Luxe villa with private pool at Maharaja. The staff, the food, the location.... Everything was really excellent! No buffet, but every day an other a la carte menu with different options to choose as a starter and main course. We liked the entertainment, and the special Valentine's party with diner and life music around the pool. All staff members did everything they could to make our stay unforgettable and made us feel as a king and a queen in paradise. Especially Cecilia, the manager of the restaurant, who arranged some special wishes we had that were not on the menu. She also organized the romantic diner that my partner surprised me with. And Isah and Maxi, our friends from the bar. But as said, we want to thank the whole staff for their excellent service! :-) We really recommend Maharaja Boutique hotel!

The staff and especially Jacky really did what they could to make sure that your stay was as good as you could get. The owner daily asked how our stay was and if there was something they could do to make it better. Its a place you always wanted to visit but didnt know how to find....... just book and go Very good breakfast with fresh fruit daily. You have a small meny to order from. the chef prepares it every morning. The food meny had alot of different dishes and the chef prepared it very good, The Lodge is situated in one end of the beach so no mass turism an less locals that seeked contact, with a short walk you can find other places to eat when you want to stretch ypu legs....still without shoes..=)

If you are looking for some relaxing, quiet time, this is the place to go. If you prefer plastic,generic,huge hotels this is not the place for you. Big thank you to the management and staff. You made us feel at home. We would love to stay at your place again.

It is central and well located, close to Balungi. Clean and staff are super friendly and helpful. Fatma the manageress is super efficient and always willing to help.

Everything about this place is bliss. The location right next to the ocean is just wow. You are steps away from the sandy beach. We had booked a private pool bungalow and it was just exactly how we wanted out holiday. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. A special mention to the sea food they have which is just too good and the rates are super reasonable. I would surely recommend this property be it families, honeymoon couples or singles travelling in a group

I had the most incredible 6-night stay at Ycona to celebrate my birthday, and every moment was simply splendid! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome and cared for. The rooms were beautifully maintained, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall ambiance was pure relaxation and luxury.

Absolutely beautiful property! Exactly like the pictures! Yusuf who runs the property couldn’t do enough for us, always on hand nothing was too much for him, very caring, even set inflatables out in the pool for the kids! And the chef was incredible too!

An amazing stay! The hotel staff was wonderful — very helpful, friendly, and always smiling. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, which makes the experience even more special. The owners are extremely kind and welcoming.
