This is an exceptional lodge in an amazing environment. My wife and I had been on safari many years ago in the Masai Mara and yet Pilanesberg while different was just as rewarding. There were two organised safaris each day and each and every one created memories to cherish. I loved the staff, who were so proud of the game reserve and so committed to making sure it was a wonderful experience, always friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the chef was just great. I loved our spacious lodge and its little plunge pool. Our safari guide Humbu really helped make the experience special. We are so grateful to him, with his incredible enthusiasm and knowledge, for the way he used his wisdom from 22 years of doing this job to orchestrate the best possible sightings for whatever animals we encountered.

Stunning location, amazing food & lovely staff (Levi was fab & couldn't help us enough) The herd of elephants at the pool were incredible & Ilsa, our guide was so lively, frie dly & knowledgeable. We saw the big 5 in 2ga.w drives as well as a cheetah!

Staff was incredible. Very accommodating, friendly and professional. The effort made by the staff, to ensure we enjoyed our stay, was phenomenal. All meals, drinks and game drives were included. Several options for each meal. 2 game drives a day. Fully stocked bar, pool, pool table and dart board. Limited rooms, so it's never too crowded. Value for money is excellent. Overall, an excellent experience

Absolutely beautiful lodge. Room was incredible and had everything we needed including indoor & outdoor shower, double sinks, bath and nespresso machine. We had multiple room services a day which was a wonderful surprise, including the night turn down with dressing gown & herbal tea laid out for a perfect nights sleep! Safari trips unforgettable with our incredible and caring driver Sean. He took us out and was determined to find us (and succeeded in finding) the big 5 after weather issues out of our control. SO much delicious food including a variety of meals which were different settings each night. The Spa was absolutely incredible !!! The seats on the car were the most luxurious of all cars we saw (x6 passengers only with binoculars, blankets and ponchos provided) Also loved how boutique is felt with only 16 guests total at the lodge. We made great friends with our fellow passengers.

From the breakfasts to the best fillet steak I have ever tasted, Deon and his team exceeded our expectations. We were treated to some of the best game viewing that South Africa has to offer, where animals are placed first and not overcrowded with ridiculous amounts of vehicles/tour guides trying to get the best tips. We swam, read and enjoyed family time, while surrounded by the comforts of home. I gave Deon some pointers as how to elevate this experience even more and was met with enthusiasm and an interest to do better. A beautiful home set in a magical place.
