It was really exceptional. I’m always wary about high scores, this truly deserves it. Massive room and bathroom. It’s the little things that make the difference. Attention to detail, everything was done with guests in mind. The host and staff were incredible, friendly and attentive.

Loved the pool, and the views. Great to wake up and see zebras. Amazing walking trails. The privacy was exceptional.

We just loved the tranquility on the farm, to top it off we had a spa day booked as a couple & absolutely loved it !

The staff are knowledgeable and very kind and helpful. The Rooibos accommodation is pretty new, nicely renovated and well maintained. Its also a quiet location , no street noise, near the small pool. The breakfast and dinner options are great and the dishes are amazing and delicious. The parking on the opposite of the street works well.

The views from the rooms and the restaurant is just amazing! We enjoyed the breakfast included in the stay and the staff was so friendly and professional that we spent both nights at the restaurant as well. Lastly, the wine tasting was great (yes, I did exhaust my budget to buy Manley wines).

GORGEOUS PLACE! We loved every single minute spent there. Quiet peaceful place, clean, beautiful surroundings… it was perfection to us. We will definitely be back.

Excellent accommodation and location to restaurants

Everything! We were warmly welcomed by Louise, who gave us some wonderful info on the house, the town, and nearby activities. The house is absolutely gorgeous and very well equipped. We had an extremely enjoyable and comfortable stay, and the spaces were perfect for socialising.

Charming old house with beautiful garden. A nice helpful woman welcomed me. The house is a museum with paintings, sculptures and curiosities. too bad the owner was not there for explanation. I slept wonderfully in a beautiful spacious room. the breakfast was also delicious.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Marius and Romijn are fantastic hosts and gave us great suggestions with regards to attractions in the Tulbagh area (we loved the olive farm and olive tasting). The accommodation was clean and the bed/linen were superb. We enjoyed the peaceful location, yet we were less than 1km to the historic town centre. We will definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time at Riverbank. The house was perfect for a large family get-together and was very well equipped. We spent hours on the spacious stoep braaing and watching springboks, but our highlight was the zebras mowing the lawn.
