We expected something fairly basic, but it is not basic at all! What a magnificent place. Superb location, massive and very luxurious rooms with full view of the bush and a stunning restaurant and bar area. We also expected to struggle for food. But Mababe River lodge has a wonderful chef, and our meals were delicious and very plentiful. The staff is also very welcoming and professional. We had tons of wildlife around our rooms, including hyena and lion. We will most definitely be back!

Best accommodation of our 3 weeks trip around Namibia and Botswana. Tebla and Ruth are just super friendly and will help you with everything they can. The small house is amazing, with a nice bed, nice small kitchen and a great shower. I would highly recommend this place!

The room and private bathroom were spacious, well equipped, very clean, and well maintained. The common areas were pleasant and comfortable to use. The owners pay attention to every detail and really care about their guests' comfort. They are warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. We arrived after dark and had trouble finding the property. Although the route is well signposted, we missed the signs in the dark. The owner noticed our car lights, drove out to meet us, and guided us to the property, which we really appreciated. We also joined a game drive organized by the owner, who has a lot of experience and knowledge. Thanks to him, we saw a great variety of animals, including several big cats that can be difficult to spot. During the drive, he shared many interesting facts about the wildlife, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a very comfortable stay and would happily recommend this place to others.

We spent one night at The Tshilli Farm & Lodge, staying in the cabins. They were very spacious, clean, and had a large bathroom. Just a short walk away there is the common area, where you can have a meal or a drink. There’s also a swimming pool and a viewpoint. The place itself is truly beautiful. The farm is dedicated to growing chilies in a sustainable way, supporting local sustainable agriculture. Totally recommended!

Everything! Incredible location, amazing staff, really tasty food, a fantastic guide in Fly and a superb room. We were the only guests staying and we could not have been looked after better! Each evening they set up a table for us with the best views of the Okavango Delta sunset. We were genuinely sad to leave. Xaro Lodge is so perfect that it made the other accommodation we stayed at in Southern Africa seem rather ordinary.
