The truly magical part of this place is the staff, everyone were friendly and went out of their way to help you out. We got the family room with Mountain View and the view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. And the city of Wengen, being a car free town, is breathtaking

Offering an indoor pool and a sauna,the Braunbär Hotel & Spa is situated close to the station in the car-free village of Wengen, which is only reachable by train. The location was awesome. We were just across the street from the gondola and the ski shop to rent skis was just next door. These was the most convienent access to skiing we've ever experienced. The rooms were aweseome and the staff was great. We didn't select the this hotel for the spa amenities but they turned out to be a great addition to our stay. We hit the Sauna almost every night and went to the pool a couple times over. They have great facilities here and the pictures don't do it justice. One evening we could watc the the sun set over the mountians from the pool. It was awesom.
