The absolute highlight, however, was the location and the unforgettable view of the lake and the surrounding hills! Simply breathtaking, and I will definitely come back, whether alone or with friends. It was a fantastic stay with a wonderful feeling all around. The reception staff are simply outstanding! Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. Hotel was generaly clean and cosy and hotel staff was friendly. We had good time with two kids and did not feel any discomfort, as we were 4 persons in the room.

This place is really great! The staff was just great, from the day we walked in it was a real homely feeling. Lars and Tobi went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and we had the perfect stay. The location was perfect, close to the train station and within walking distance to all attractions. It was also close to a laundry in case that is needed.

Everything was perfect. The view was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful. Close to the city (18 min. by bus and they provided a guest card/ticket for our convenience when commuting) but actually you feel like you are in the suburbs.Very clean and spacious rooms. They also let us leave our suitcases there after check out so that we could explore the city. We really wanted to stay more but everything was already booked.We just wish we didn't have to leave.
