Marcela and Alejandro were very helpful and kind and even helped to organise a taxi for us when needed. There are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance which were handy. We had dinner one of the nights which was freshly prepared and was super delicious. Similarly, the breakfast was super tasty with many local and homemade foods.

I was able to stay with my 2 big dogs(Gran Dane and labrador) without extra charge and no issues at all, the apartment has hot water, well located, good furniture and free parking. Over all was pretty awesome!

Nestled down a bumpy lane in the heart of plantain and coffee farms, this oasis surrounded by calling birds offers a relaxing stay away. Daily cleaning and fresh towels , good mattresses and the homemade burgers all get top marks. The outside pool was great, along with the hammocks, sound system to play your own music, flexible meal times and a handy laundry service all providing comfort. Meals included sancocho, huevos revueltos, limonada among others. Juan Jose and Claudia went to great lengths to help us arrange transport around the area and fill all requests. The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly.

This place is a piece of paradise in the middle of nowhere. Tukawa is a bit far but it’s really worth it ! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The coffee tour organized by Fabian is very interesting and easy to understand, I really liked it. They also have horse riding tour accessible to every level and the horses look healthy and well treated! The overflow pool is really refreshing and well maintained. The staff organize activities in the evening like salsa classes, quiz nights… I really recommend Tukawa either if you want to rest in a peaceful place or if you want to meet people and have fun.

Rancho Eden is a paradise for people who love animals and nature. The grounds were exceptionally well maintained and the views were amazing. It was far enough away from the main road to be very quiet but close enough to walk in a few minutes. The food was spectacular. Room service from the restaurant was five stars. Every entree was delicious and well prepared. The staff went above and beyond at every opportunity. Waking up and seeing the mountains emerge from the clouds as the sun rose was majestic.
