Leonardo and another staff member looked up some local news to make sure we knew what the safest route was. In regard to the room, they have 2 AC units and loads of space for either couples or small families. The community is secure and feels very cozy. Breakfast is delicious. HIGHLY HIGHLY regard others to stay here.

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal... The location was absolutely stunning with amazing views of the Arenal volcano and lake. We loved the various hiking trails, one even led to a water fall where you could swim, so bring your swim suits! We saw so much wild-life nearby on our walks including coyotes, toucans and monkeys. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We loved every meal and found the staff to be super friendly and helpful, wish we could have stayed longer!

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Great place with plenty to do! We were a group of 7 and the facilities gave us space to be together and also relax separately. The hot springs, drinks, and pool slide were the highlights, while two of the group loved the Zipline. Breakfast and service were excellent, and check-in and parking were smooth.

Wow probably the best views during our stay in Costa Rica. We chose the upper floor and the volcano was in full view. It was amazing rain or shine. In other places during rain you feel like you are stuck in a small room with nothing to do but in this place we had amazing terrace and a massive room where we could read when it was raining and we didn't feel like we missed out. Breakfast was a short walk in a nearby property.
