We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

Isa was always making sure that everything was going well and even made sure to book all the activities for us. Really good food as well.

Residencial Lela d'Fermina tiene una alberca al aire libre, jardín, un salón compartido y terraza en Pombas. Quienes se hospeden aquí pueden hacer uso de un bar. I absolutely loved staying at Residencial Lela d’Fermina and next time I’m back in Santo Antão this is the place I’ll stay at, no doubt. The owner, Mr Antonio, is a gem of a person, and the whole staff was really nice and kind. The room was spacious and had everything I needed — I’d probably just add a kettle. The restaurant across the road was also such a lovely experience, the view is amazing, the owner is so kind, and the food is delicious and so cheap. After the craziness of Mindelo I really appreciated the opportunity to rest at this peaceful place, surrounded by mountains, and chilling by the pool. Antonio is really knowledgeable about the surrounding area and he made sure I was taken care of the entirety of my stay. Muito obrigado, Sr António! Hotel Château Georgette en Pombas ofrece hospedaje solo para adultos con un jardín, un restaurante y un bar. El hotel es posiblemente de los mejores de la isla. Habitación grande y nueva,con aire acondicionado, terraza, televisión... Todo está muy nuevo y había pocos huéspedes. Cenamos un día en el hotel y la cena también estaba espectacular (precio europeo eso sí) 50€ para dos personas. La ducha tiene agua caliente pero se acaba rápido , como en toda la isla. La piscina también está muy bien y el desayuno fue DE LO MEJOR, completo y estilo buffet, merece muchísimo la pena.

THE RETREAT tiene una alberca al aire libre, jardín, una terraza y bar en Monte Joana. I loved the peace of the place. Like a paradise in the middle of the mountains with the sea view from afar. This place is ideal for a hiker's break, ideal to stay isolated from confusion, a good place for a reset, or a place to share with your other half for a romantic stay ❤️

Pousada Green Place cuenta con un gimnasio, jardín, un restaurante y bar en Ribeira Grande. Extremely friendly staff that was always available to help in anything I needed. The location was not the easiest to get to with public transport but the views from there were incredible. Breakfast was amazing!! Fully recommend it.

Contando con una alberca, un jardín, una terraza y vistas al mar, Casa Madeira está ubicado en Porto Novo y tiene hospedaje con WiFi gratis. Very nice place, clean, quiet and close to the beach. Good strategic spot for exploring west side of island. I would definitely go back there.
