For over 160 years, the Europäischer Hof Heidelberg has stood for genuine hospitality and timeless elegance. Hotel with lots of tradition, very nice welcome, nicely decorated (pre-Christmas). Rooms well kept and clean. Excellent breakfast, the Bircher Müesli is home-made and excellent, like everything else at breakfast. Very attentive staff, and the senior owner looks after everything. We also had a dinner in the Kurfürstenstube. Just perfect! Very good wine suggestions which accompanied the amazing dishes well. Here again very good service by everyone. Thank you to the whole team for a very nice pre-Christmas treat.

Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

This newly renovated hotel is a real gem! The bed was the most comfortable we have had in Europe. The property is on the edge of the Black Forest and gorgeous. Breakfast buffet had all we could ask for and was constantly replenished as guests ate. Easy walk to town, which exceeded our expectations! Wish we could have stayed several days.
