We traveled by bikes to Bad Schandau so we could store them in a bike storage (they have 2 storages for bikes and e-bikes). the staff at hotel was very kind, smiling and helpful, we also received free pass for travelling by bus & train in the surroundings. The breakfast was fabulous and beds were comfortable.

A large beer garden, a small indoor pool and 2 saunas are offered at this peaceful hotel. It lies 1.6 mi from Pirna and 3.7 mi from the A17 motorway.

Breakfast was wonderful with great choice of meals. Coffee pots on each table worth separate mentioning. Fruits and vegetables were fresh and juicy, so overall breakfast is greater, than you can expect

The location was great. Some hiking trails started right around the corner. The “Burg Hohnstein” was nearby. A great place to enjoy the sunset. The sauna and pool were great after a day of hiking. The two saunas were large and like new. The food was really super, breakfast and dinner! Comfortable rooms.
