Bad Windsheim is a charming town. It took us a bit of roaming to find the hotel but it was well worth it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide little surprises like chocolate Santas on the pillows. The room was huge and exceeded my expectations. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. The bar which also serves fare like pizza is great.

We came across this property as it was in the correct location to split our journey, what a find. Lovely property with the added bonus of being on a wine cafe. The owners ran an honesty bar for their own wine produce, at very reasonable prices, we made full advantage of this. The property was of high standard, very homely and comfortable. Next time we travel South through Europe we will definitely stay here again and for more than one night to take advantage of the area more.

An absolutely maisterstück butique hotel. The best butique hotel sized spa i have ever visited. The food is amazing. The style, the mood, the vibe.. no words. We will come back for sure.

This hotel is 500 metres from the Geiselwind exit of the A3 motorway. All rooms at the Hotel Strohofer feature a work desk and a private bathroom. A breakfast is provided each morning.

easy to get to. love the food over at the Truckstop. it’s fab and lovely staff. great to have the choice of bath or shower and the mattress was perfect. I didn’t have the time for breakfast, so I can’t comment. it’s great to have a kettle with a good choice of teas and coffees, thank you.

Location, excellent for trips( Würzburg, Nürnberg, Bamberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauern). So many nice places to see and enjoy. House is nice, quiet. Garden for morning coffee. Nature pool for relax, after intense day. The owner excellent.
