The rooms were nice, the outdoor was great and the rooftop was amazing! We had so much fun. Jacob is so nice and attentive, he even brought us a cake made by his sister. He was flexible, understanding and help us with our activities. He charges a little pricey for activities but that didn’t affected our stay. Being able to do the laundry was a gem !

What truly sets this place apart is Mohamed and every single person working at the lodge. The way they treat guests feels genuinely different from most local interactions we experienced elsewhere. There was absolutely no pressure to book tours, buy experiences, or spend money through the accommodation. We were given space, time, and freedom, while always feeling supported whenever we needed help. The food deserves a special mention: breakfasts and dinners were outstanding — without exaggeration, the best meals we had during our whole trip. In fact, on our last night in Luxor, we stayed at another place we had booked in advance, and still chose to travel 18 km just to come back and have dinner at the lodge. That says everything. This is real, disinterested hospitality. You don’t feel like a customer, but like a guest who is truly welcome. A place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. We would return without any doubt.
