This boutique hotel in the small town of Elvillar was everything that a large impersonal hotel is not. Every experience including the design and use of the staircase and its furniture is an existential positive. The complimentary experience of the old with the new is exemplary.

This Palace says Quality all over the place. The attention to details, the quality of everything from materials in the room to everything at breakfast. A lovely bed with very comfortable sheets and duvets, a nice layout of the room and bathroom. Really fluffy slippers. The staff were very attentive which you would expect at this level hotels. It was the small things: they provide e-bikes for free, but you also can have a lock, helmets in different sizes, a GPS and a bag to go cycling around the vineyards. We enjoyed a dinner at Tierra y Vino, their Michelin recommended restaurant. We chose the 5-course dinner, and can recommend it.

The room was superb. It was in the attached accommodation and had a beautiful terrace and view of the church in the nearby village which was lit at night. The terrace a was lovely for snacks and drinks. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed the tour of the winery and tasting. The hotel buildings are dramatic and iconic.
