Hospes Palacio de Arenales dates back to the 17th century and was formally the holiday residence of a noble family. This 5-star hotel offers a wellness centre and spa. Beautiful rooms, very large pool with gorgeous landscaping. Helpful, friendly staff who were tolerant of our poor Spanish and spoke English to us without making it feel like an inconvenience. Stayed with our two kids they loved the pool and the grounds. Close to town. 10/10 recommend!

Located in a quiet and pretty residential area of Cáceres, this elegant hotel offers free Wi-Fi and chic rooms. The outdoor pool is set within gardens. It's very modern and clean, I enjoyed very much the bar at the lobby since I am very alcoholic! haha just kidding, but in general everything was fantastic

Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards. As with many paradors, it is in an incredible historical building. Our room was lovely and quiet and we enjoyed having drinks in the small bar and had a superb lunch in the restaurant. Very good off-season rate as well.

The hospitality went above and beyond, including a history of the building and it's restoration and a map of the town and area. Perfect location for exploring not just Llarena but surrounding area as well. Highly recommended.
