This was a great holiday. The pools were lovely with plenty of sun loungers so you didn't need to reserve and complimentary towels. We were half board which gave us access to the buffet restaurant. The food here was great. There was an extensive choice with lots of high quality food cooked straight in front of you. The bar prices were also reasonable with a good range of cocktails and wines.

This adults-only hotel is located next to Santa Susanna Beach. ALEGRIA Mar Mediterrania is a 40-minute drive from Girona and its airport, and offers modern, air-conditioned rooms with a terrace.

Very nice staff. We was checked into the room even 2 hour earlier and checked out 1 hour later. It was very nice. Rooms are cleaned every day. We had breakfast and dinner, it's an abundance of food like in a 5 star hotel (from seafood to various meats and desert) Upon arrival we received vouchers for one drink at the bar. We get a drinking bottles as a present the last day, very surprised. There is a kettle, tea, coffee in the room. There was an event every evening. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the sea, a very good beach. Train stop 5 minutes from hotel. Runs every 30 minutes, direct to Barcelona (the trip takes about 1.2h)

This B&B is beyond fantastic as is Gemma and the effort she pours in to making sure guests are happy. I wish more hosts were like her. The house had suffered a flood due to a storm and she moved heaven and earth to get the new room up and running, where we stayed. Breakfast was yummy, views, pool and location amazing. Secure parking was a relief as car full with luggage and my mobility scooter on our way to Denia area. Gemma thinks of every detail including little gifts as a welcome. As for the woman that reviewed it's unsuitable for mobility issues; I am disabled and found the terrain absolutely fine. Gemma sent a video prior showing the steps around, so I could decide if manageable for my needs and is so helpful with everything. Thank you Gemma for a wonderful stay and we'll be back. The breakfast was fantastic, great value and as fresh as they come! We even had enough to take away for our journey home. The rooms are spotlessly clean, more than enough space and very comfortable. Montse was so helpful and answered any query we had from eating out to arranging taxi`s.

Very good hotel, clean, comfortable, good food. Very friendly personnel, I had a little problem in my room when i arrived late evening, the lady from the reception Camila came to me and fixed it and also offered another good room but i just didnt need to move since the problem was solved :) I had a really nice stay
