The Villa is run by a lovely Greek family. Maria and Manolis are amazing hosts and really good people. They genuinely care about their guests. We arrived before the season started, in the middle of April, and stayed for two weeks. We were actually the first guests of the season, and they treated us exceptionally! Our room was spacious, newly refurbished, and nicely decorated. When we arrived, there was some Samos wine waiting for us, which was such a nice touch. Later on, Manolis even shared some of his homemade wine with us – it was delicious! Plus, he gave us the best olive oil I’ve ever tasted (and I’m a big fan of Greek olive oil!). The view from our room was fantastic – we could see straight out to the ocean, and from the balcony and other windows, we had a great view of the mountains, including the highest one, Kerkis. The room was kept clean, and you could really tell that the owners take pride in what they do. This was our second time visiting Samos. Normally, I don’t go back to places, but there’s something uniquely charming about Samos. It’s not overcrowded, there aren’t any big hotel chains, and it really feels like a genuine Greek getaway. We picked this location because it's close to some beautiful sandy beaches, including one just steps away from the villa. Additionally, there are lots of hiking trails in the mountains and local roads around here. Getting there from the airport was easy. I recommend renting a car from Manolis A.R.MA Samos Rent a Car and picking it up at the airport. I'm already planning my return trip to explore the southern shore of the island and stay again in the Villa!

Kalidon Panorama Hotel is located on the north coast of Samos, near the village of Kokkari. It's only 400 metres from the beach Lemonakia and in a short walk from the famous Tsamadou beach.

This is our 5th trip to Samos, each time we stayed in different part of the island. This is the best place by far.. I cannot say anything negative about this place, it was such a great experience during our stay for three days. Beautifully decorated, clean, modern room, comfortable bed with crispy sheets and a large balcony. Excellent breakfast they provide more choices than you need. Property has breath taking panoramic sea views from everywhere. A short walk to the beach and to town. What makes this place so spacial is the staff they are bang on the ball ,very friendly and a big smile on their faces. But I like to say just a few words about Maria, she will make you feel like you are at home, such a lovely lady she is. Thank you all the staff of Kalidon Panorama for making our stay so special . Quality of stay in the resort in every little detail For example : a daily gift left in the room Professional staff very friendly and efficient Location of the hotel facing a wonderful sea panorama. Quiet guests mainly adults from anywhere in Europe (many from scandinavia) except France. This is common in dodecanese islands. No kids running everywhere or screaming at the pool, therefore a peaceful resort. Excellent place to forget a year of work and to « charge your battery »
