It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but Shanty Surf Camp Hotel did exactly that and more. If you’re looking for a destination that offers peace, beauty, and everything you could possibly want in a getaway, this is it. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The location of the property was directly at the river in the mangroves, it was just magical! The rooms were really comfy and the pool was so nice! You could rent kayaks for free and we had the best time on the river. The breakfast which was included was simple and yummy. We had a great time at El Puente!

We had dinner, drinks and breakfast. The bartender/server we had at dinner was so friendly and helpful. The bartender/server at breakfast brought us coffee right as the opened without us even asking. The chef came out and talked to us as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better staff experience.
