Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Masseria Torre Spagnola is set in a historic 16th-Century building, 9 km from Matera. Free private parking is available on site. This was the best stay we had during our trip. The location and experience we had were exceptional. The hosts are great, provided us with all the information necessary and good restaurant recommendations in Matera. Masseria is located on top of a hill with great views. Our room was big and comfortable. We really enjoyed everything, including breakfast which was rich and tasteful. Hope to be back one day

Easy access by car, fast check in, very kind and helpfull receptionist. Room had large balcony with amazing view. Hotel has a nice gaeden with swimming pool.

The hype is real for those that like to immerse in history. + The attention to details in the rooms, the dedication to the authenticity (like electrical lights are hidden with wood) is remarkable. + The room we booked had a great view of the town. Comfy beds. + We stayed during Christmas and the pool and spa baths in the caves were toasty warm. + The daily rituals (symposium with snacks and wine, the water ritual) are phenomenal and well done. + Breakfast was unique as well, all in the ancient style. + Free shuttle from the parking garage outside of the center as well (not far) + Very friendly staff

I like the nature surrounding the masseria. It Is a very peaceful and magical place. The staff has been very friendly. We had dinner there and the grigliate and grilled veggies were delicious. Desserts were also very gnammy. Our room was enormous.

A former mill, converted into a complex with hotel, indoor and outdoor swiming pools, restaurants, bars, conference rooms and generous common spaces. The personnel was so kind and supporting that make us to feal as the most important guests, ever. Cleaning on the daily bases, with a professional approach. Small but important gestures of courtesy (each day, water still and sparkling, coffee, tea, were refill, free of charge). Large parking facility, included in the price. Good cuisine, a maximum grade to the Chef. We strongly believe is the best place to stay, in Matera.
