The view, pool area, outdoor kitchen and location are fabulous! The chalet is about 15 mins from Madaba by car and is in a quiet, peaceful location on the hillside with a lovely breeze to keep the temperature down. The property was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The owner even left the fridge and cupboards stocked with food and enough bottled water for a week. The Dead Sea views were fantastic! The owner came to guide us in by car when we couldn’t locate the property and he even went out to buy a corkscrew for our wine. This is a lovely property and a great way to visit the Dead Sea and Madaba areas.

Location is near some of the tourist attractions. The place is safe and walkable. The location is safe and quiet. Supermarket is a 2 minute walk. Everthing in the hotel is likeable, the staff and the hotel itself.

Decor and ambience of the hotel. The different types of seating in the lobby, also swing seats, the library with it's tall chairs, books and chess, the lighting along the corridor, etc made the hotel unique. Spacious and comfortable room. Large bathroom with separate bath and huge walk in shower. The buffet restaurant which also had a seating area on the balcony with a view of the hot springs waterfall, which I was fortunate to be able to enjoy whilst eating my dinner. The buffet dinner and breakfast were delicious with a variety of options. Your choice of omelettes and pancakes are cooked in front of you upon request. I went to the public hot springs and the hotel pool which is water from the spring. I only went into one of the public hot springs and with clothing. The largest public hot spring was occupied only by men at the time so I preferred to use the hotel pool instead. The water is definitely hot. If you want to relax and a stress free environment this place is ideal. There is nothing else in the area and you can only reach this place by car.

Our stay at Porto Dead Sea was fantastic! The food and service were amazing, the rooms comfortable, and the location was super convenient, just steps away from the Dead Sea. We chose to stay here as it had parking and direct access to the dead sea and we were so pleased we did. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a large balcony and lovely views of the dead sea. The messages from the hosts with directions and information were exceptional and exact. A welcome drink and snack was left for us which we appreciated. The facilities of the resort were excellent, large pool, heated jacuzzi and the dead sea area perfect, special mention to the dead sea attendant as he was very helpful. The resort is next to the mall where there are restaurants etc and a small supermarket.
