Very friendly and dedicated staff. Head sommelier really made an effort to teach us on the excellent sakes served. Very good service in the spa and the staff in general made the visit very memorable. Fantastic sun down view from the suite. Interesting architecture well worth a stay. Amazing food.

I was overwhelmed by this hotel. Large room with views over the city, great restaurants, great staff, it was just what I needed after cycling rhe Shimanami Kaido. Great value.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was slightly challenging to find as there was no English written on the sign to turn from the main road or on the building sign (kanji only), but GPS worked to get close to the area. We were able to park near the building without additional fee. The onsen was small but nice. Although it was on the first floor, the building is on a hill, so you could still see out over part of the city. We were able to easily walk to Dogo Park and Isheti-ji (shrine) from the hotel. There is also a free shuttle bus service, but we did not use it. We took advantage of the karaoke rooms, which was fun (free from 0900 to 1900, then have to pay in the evenings). We also used the ping-pong tables. The breakfast and dinner were both tasty with many options.

The hotspring facilities are all amazing. Especially, the private hotspring was quite comfortable and it was nice that they have several different options for it. Also, they have wide range of yukata which we can choose without paying any extra fee.

宝泉坊ロッジ features an indoor swimming pool and a sauna, as well as air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi in Kami-ōno. A fridge and kettle are also available.
