Most of all, services of the hotel is superb. I had been there during Cherry blossom season, the hotel provided Cherry blossom news of the blooming everyday. Concierge team of the hotel was very attentive, they recommended and booked many good places to eat for us. Breakfast is very good with many choices in both buffet and a la carte menu, including some Thai food. I had dinner at Koyo, teppanyagi restaurant at the hotel, it was also very good cooking and reasonable price.

I loved the location and rooms, they are very thoughtfully appointed. I loved the art collection and the library. A very peaceful ambiance and incredibly good value.

Open from 2016, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto features a Western-style restaurant and a tea house by a pond in Shakusuien Japanese garden as well as a lounge. Kyoto Station is a 7-minute drive away. The property is outstanding. It’s super clean (as with most places in Kyoto), is spacious and offers amazing photo opportunities. All the staff (and I mean every single person there) were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the hotel and area.

The resort hotel in Kyoto and offering free WiFi throughout, The Westin Miyako features indoor pool, a fitness center and spa treatments. Excellent hotel, recently refurbished and much better quality than other Westins. We got upgraded to a Junior Suite which was huge and had fantastic amenities. The onsen area and gym/pool were great additions and worth going to. Good selections of restaurants and a nice bar (just note high costs below). Staff were friendly, rooms super clean and beds very comfortable. Great, quiet location but easily walkable into centre of Kyoto (20-25 min walk) or a metro station a couple of minutes away. Would definitely stay again.

Situated in Kyoto and a 15-minute drive from Nijo Castle, Rhino Hotel Kyoto features a restaurant. The nearest station is Saiin Station, a 2-minute walk from the property. Room size was great. The amenities were also amazing. The 7/11 downstairs was the best I've ever been to.

Conveniently located a 7-minute walk from JR Kyoto Train Station, RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto is renovated in September 2016 and features 8 restaurants. Excellent location and super attentive staff. Very very good variety at buffet breakfast (we where preoccupied to only encounter topically Asian dishes but we're pleasantly surprised with the abundance of choices). Comfortable beds I thought I had lost my ID upon leaving the hotel and they were kind enough to follow up not once but twice. Excellent, would recommend 100%
