We liked the Japanese style room, the view, the onsen (thermal baths), the buffet, the convenient location that allowed us to take public transport and explore that national parks. The hotel is well maintained and a great value for money!

The view is breathtaking, the big windows in the room were perfect for the view, the room itself was very spacious for a Japanese hotel, we had a lot of space for our luggage. The breakfast was great with variety and the evening buffet was so good that we booked it each day although we wanted to try local restaurants. The staff was also very friendly, I could even have some light chat (in Japanese) and get some recommendations on activities to do.

The breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner we had in the evening. The room was much better than the ones we had so far in Japan, maybe because it had two single beds, with plenty of room in between. The staff was very helpful, and the bonus hot spring very enjoyable.
