The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

With pool views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Each room is equipped with a patio with city views. This house is amazing, love the traditional decor and feel. The room was really big and spacious, fitted with fans to cool the room and Safari was really helpful with everything. I would 100% come back to stay here. The food was also really amazing thank you!

Jannat house is very very romantic! The house is built in typical Swahili style and it lies in the centre of Lamu. It is super cosy, beautiful, rustic with many beautiful plants around and an amazing small pool in the centre of the house, next to a bar. The highlight (besides romantic style of the house with many balconies and stairs) were the people working there! Caroline and the rest of the staff were amazing! super cool, helpful, constantly around making sure we have everything we need. They also prepare the freshest food and the breakfasts were great. Thank you so so much fot this beautiful experience! They are also well known in Lamu and well conected and can help you with tips on where to go and how to reach it. Great!! Guests can relax on the beach or visit the outdoor swimming pool, which is a 1-minute walk from the property. Sabrina’s Café and Restaurant serves a variety of local dishes as well as fresh bread and muffins. Had a great stay at Shella White House. Tom was very accommodating, making my time wonderful and truly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it. The breakfast was superb, and the swimming pool on the property was brilliant.
