The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Kijani is a charming little hotel in Shela, well located to discover the village on foot, and the nearby islands by boat. It has everything one needs for a perfect holiday; provides a quiet and peaceful backdrop. We loved the flexibility of management (even with last minute issues), return boat transfers included in the price, amazing breakfast and restaurant. Fantastic staff (management, reception, cleaning team, restaurant, kitchen, guards, in short: EVERYONE): kind, attentive, all while being respectful of privacy. We have stayed elsewhere in Lamu and Kijani truly stands out. Thank you.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Banana House and Wellness Centre is located in Shela village, Lamu 2.7 km from Gallery Baraka. The property is set 2.8 km from Lamu Fort. The location was amazing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They accommodated our needs and helped us with ways to get around the town. The environment was healing and very warm. Absolutely enjoyed it.

Offering an outdoor pool, garden and a restaurant, Jannat House is located in Lamu Old Town. It is situated a short walk away from the Waterfront and the Main Road. Free Wi-Fi access is available. This house is so beautiful! You have many terraces to relax, the pool always clean and available. The rooms are essentials but clean. It is right in Lamu old town, and it is an oasis of peace. The breakfast here is amazing (with fruits and eggs) and they change it every day. The owner also gave us good recommendations for fish restaurants.

My family and I so had a fantastic time at Baytulkher. The food was yummy, the house is beautiful and spacious, the swimming was perfect for young kids and the sunset view from the roof was delightful. The location is relatively quiet for Lamu town, not far from the port and the fan really helped us to sleep well. Malik was so kind, helpful and accommodating. He helped us with transport, drinks, mosquitos nets for the sofa bed and much more. I would highly recommend here. For the price you pay, you really do get a lot. We are very grateful to have found here. They have listened to the comments made in previous reviews, as issue like hot water have definitely been resolved and we received cleaning each day.

The view on the rooftop for breakfast was fantastic. Delicious fresh fruit for breakfast every day. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
