We stayed at Ttunu House in January 2025, and it was simply incredible! The house is beautiful, lovingly restored, and tastefully furnished. There is truly not a single thing to complain about! The Ttunu House team—Cornelius, Stephen, and Jackson—did everything to make our stay perfect and unforgettable. Stephen cooks whatever guests desire, with only the cost of groceries charged, while the service itself is included. Upon request, we had the best tuna steaks of our lives, served with grilled vegetables and Kachumbari (a Kenyan tomato salad). For those looking for an extraordinary vacation far from tourist hotspots but without sacrificing luxury, Ttunu House is the perfect choice! We would love to come back.

The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Objekat Authentic Swahili style villa Milele House je smešten u gradu Lamu, na svega 2 min. The house was majestic. Upon entrance it was like stepping into an oasis from the narrow, but cozy streets of Lamu Town. The architecture was stunning and its aesthetics and functionality impressive. As the house is glass and roof free the natural ventilation was a constant fresh and cool breeze in 30 degrees celsius weather. The house help Jamuhuri had the kindest soul. Everything felt safe and it always felt like coming home because he was there. The house was always clean and Jamuhuri was always ready to help with anything we needed. Asante sana!

Objekat Andavelo House sa pogledom na grad se nalazi u gradu Lamu i nudi restoran, besplatni organizovani prevoz, bar, vrt, bazen na otvorenom koji je dostupan cele godine i terasu. We were picked from the airport by Safari which was extremely helpful, otherwise we would have never found the accommodation :D We were very much welcomed with some wet towers and coconut water, great after a flight on a warm weather. Everyone was extremely nice and I loved the culture of the house, we needed to wash some cloths and no money was asked, they gave us lot of recommendations and the best part: even with a short notice asking for dinner in the accommodation for that night, we had the best meal in Kenya and the best fish ever!! Please reserve at least one meal there!

Beautiful location in Shela village, stunning gardens around the hotel and a short walk to Shela Beach which goes on forever. The restaurant at Kijani is amazing, better than Peponi! Definitely have the Kijani Crab Curry!

Jannat House is a stylish historic house located in the heart of the old town, with amazing atmosphere, very friendly staff including Caroline who helps with the most important issues, very tasty breakfast. Highly recommended

Objekat Baytulkher se nalazi na nekoliko koraka od znamenitosti 18th Century Swahili House Museum, a nudi smeštaj u kome su vam na raspolaganju bazen na otvorenom, terasa i recepcija koja radi... The location was easy to find and we felt safe moving around in the area after dark. The Queen Deluxe room was great. The staff was caring and attentive. The room was clean. The “balcony” or the open room near bedroom was beautiful, cozy and pleasant to spend time at. There were mosquito nets on the bed. It is obvious that lots of love and effort has been put into restoration of the building.

Objekat Pwani House - Lamu Seafront nudi smeštaj u gradu Lamu, u blizini znamenitosti Gallery Baraka i Riyadha Mosque. The property has a really nice view of the ocean! The housekeeper Zion was really good and kind. I would recommend 10/10
