Checking out of this residence felt like being put out of heaven. Little Muni and baby Alexandro, Narah who taught me how to ride a motorbike, uncle's honesty, and all my sister's laughter! The little food surprises 😁I got a free room upgrade (I think they understood my strain after a long train trip). And so - I cannot commend you enough - as very few places I've been to manages to combine effortless kindness and hospitality - with perfect sized rooms (e.g soft beds AND choice of soft/ hard pillows) quitetude with urbanism, and - sustainability without bragging about it - All at a fair price. Worth mentioning they have an organic farm, so the food is delicious, especially the juices- and the saltwater (clorine free) pool is not only good for you, its an imperative and logical (uncle) though for the future, that more hotels should adapt I hope you grow up happy, Muni. Located in the heart of Khmer Wat Kor Village, Maisons Wat Kor is a boutique hotel with an outdoor swimming pool and massage services. Rooms have a terrace offering garden or pool views. Free parking is provided. Beautiful, charming, friendly: just a perfect stay. Mattress was too hard to my taste but I asked and they provided a topper and all was then perfect again.

The garden and pool area were beautiful and a lovely place to spend a relaxing afternoon. The room, including the bathroom, was very clean and had the added bonus of a shaded balcony for lazy mornings. The staff were lovely and keen to help in any way they could. They had excellent recommendations for restaurants. Although the hotel is on the outskirts of the city getting a Tuk Tuk took seconds and so the location really wasn’t a problem. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Battambang!
