Sihanoukville have lost a lot of its small resorts. Sunbird Garden is of the last remaining. The resort is run by a lovely hostesses in a very familiar way. It is not a big resort but you get all you really need. The pool-area is a small hidden paradise. You can choose your breakfast and the coffee is really good. The rooms are big, clean and classic in a good way. Everyone is very smiling helpfully and the hostess can help with bookings. Three lovely dogs patrolling the resort and keep you company. The Otres beach is very close and it fills up with Cambodian families in the afternoon and evenings to have dinner. But there are never really much people at the beach. We stayed before and went back after visiting Koh Rong. We would really like to come back. The resort do not use booking.com any more you have to e-mail directly for a reservation.

The lady that works there was amazing. so helpful with everything and just genuinely so nice.

Our stay with Anaya was just amazing. From start to finish. The entire staff, from managers, waiters to house keeping, everyone greets you and smile at you at all time. They make you feel welcome and at home. The small villas are amazing and the bathroom outdoor is something unique. After getting used using the toilet outside it’s a special personal place. The restaurant has a wide variety of western and Cambodian food. My personal favorite was the Beef Lok Lak, but all meals from the menu are very high quality. The resort in general is very well looked after, clean, and tidy. Knowing that the island is still in an early development stage, the currently rather slow Wi-Fi was not a big issue for us as we also wanted to unplug from the internet. They also offer a nice variety of activities which is a nice bonus.

One of the most AMAZING places i've ever stayed in my life! Absolute perfection; from the decoration and amazing space of the rooms (we pimped out for the Superior); to the beautiful perfect white sand beach; to the NICEST staff we had in our trip, always attentive, smilling and helpful! We absolutely loved this place- the perfect last days in Cambodia! Amazing food also from the restaurant- from breakfast to lunch and dinner! I couldn't recommend a place more than this one! Thank you so much Saron for being such a star and taking care of us every single day, making sure our stay was perfect! To all the staff- arkoun​ chraen!!!!!!!

Located on the beach of Koh Rong in the Sihanoukville Province, The Royal Sands Koh Rong offers luxurious villas with a private beach area and stunning views of the gulf of Thailand. This is place is exceptional ! Best beach and best hotel in all SEA ( and i do travel worldwide since 20+ years ) The staff is always there for you, the quality sand of the beach is awesome, the two restaurant are beautifull and the food ….hmmm just perfect !! I am happy to see as well that the beach didnt change since 2018 and is intact !! The spa well is just perfect, each spa room is build on top of a little lake and you are able to see fishes whille you are having your massage !! The sunset area is as well very good set up with a fire every evening !! The choices of the beakfast is as wéll very good !! The rooms are perfect! Bed is enormous and you private outdoor shower as well as indoor and bathroom is big too !! Seriously i will be back for sure !! Thanks again to all the stafft’ that is welcoming and smilling all the time !!
