The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. I really liked the welcome they give u, all staff properly trained on guest care, as I arrived Kavisha was very welcoming and throughout my stay she was inquiring n getting feedbacks plus the new wing rooms were super luxurious and has the vibe of a modern hotel! Food was excellent as well!

We had a wonderful stay in this place up in the hill in Kandy. It felt like we were in our own little secluded world. The location is dreamy and peaceful. We specially love the pool and its view, couldn't get enough of it! The staff here were so kind and attentive, they took great care of us and made us feel right at home. We are very grateful for their warm hospitality and couldn't wait to come stay here again! For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat away from hustle and bustle I would highly recommend this lovely oasis.

Amazing breakfast, big pool with beautiful view, room with air conditioning and mosquito net. You will get the greatest love from the staff, we have never experienced such an attitude anywhere else. They are happy to help you with everything and always have a smile on their face. If we were to stay again near Kandy, I would never choose any other accommodation than Kandy Bird Villas. The main thanks go to the nice young man Vihan Thenuka, who made our stay very pleasant! ❤️

Beautifully restored villa with three lovely guest rooms. The owner has used his artistic skills to make this one of the most enchanting boutique property anywhere. The breakfasts were delicious and the location is a short tuk tuk ride to the lake, downtown and nearby restaurants. Even comes with a small pool to cool off in on those hot days. Highly recommended!

I really appreciated the calm and quiet atmosphere of the property. It offered a sense of tranquility that made for a truly relaxing stay. The hotel itself was well-maintained and provided a peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding and enjoying a restful experience.

This residence is exceptional. From arrival to departure all the staff were friendly willing to help and flexible. My partner and I enjoy an early coffee at our home and looked forward to something not Nescafe. Spoke to the kitchen guys, "no problem", 6am? No problem. Freshly brewed while I watched chopping of onions and grinding of fresh coconut. Nothing was a problem! Meals, hot, fresh tasty, varied. Breakfast and dinner both excellent. Nice pool liked by the children. Pretty garden. Second time in Sri Lanka and I guess I won't make it again in this life. Hopefully my children and their children will return to stay with the Surveyor's crew.

Piyal was a total gentleman. He was hospitable, informative, and efficient. He organised transport for us ( both during and onwards)made phone calls and booked the cultural show for us. I think he spoke better English than me!!! The Grove itself is beautiful. It had all the facilities required ( no refrigerator in room or kettle but filter water available on tap in the shared lounge and Tea/ coffee on request). It was spotlessly clean. Dinner was available via the hotel next door- it was brought over for you so you wouldn't really have noticed. Beer was also available. There was also a pool next door, a 3 minute walk. It has spectacular views- one of the highlights of the Grove.
