We highly recommend it for families looking for a relaxing beach getaway! The even let us stay in the room for free until the evening before our flight.

Beautiful location next to a river with lots of wildlife around. Beautiful grounds to walk alround with lots of interesting statues etc .Lovely clean pool and great food. The owners were friendly and helpful. Pool surrounded by coconut trees and you can watch as the fearless coconut man climbs a tree and shimmies across the ropes from one tree to another placing pots to collect the toddy. We were given drinks to try .. delicious the food was good too especially the coconut honey . Great place to relax away from everything . The cabin was huge with seating area inside and outside to watch the squirrels running around .

The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. It is located at a-minute walk away from the Rascals kite surfing school where you can rent equipment, learn how to kite surf and free boat transfer to main kite surfing beach. Yoga classes are available at an extra cost. One of the best places we've ever stayed. If you're reading this, go ahead and book your stay and thank me later.

We had an amazing stay at Elegant Hamlets Home Stay, an absolute true gem with serene surroundings for relaxing, extremely modern, spacious and built to Western and European standards, the Hosts Sherine and Chamara are extremely friendly and helpful and makes you feel welcome and right at home. The jetted pool is nothing short of your own private little oasis, the home meals are absolutely delightful, the facilities are outstanding and include a well equipped beautiful outdoor kitchen area beside the villa, water, coffee and tea facilities are readily available in the villa. While we had a dialog tourist phone plan, we found the in house wifi to be very fast and reliable.This was our favourite homestay in Sri Lanka and we highly recommend this Homestay. Side note; google street view map is outdated, the area and roads are very good and built up, tuk tuk’s and PickMe are readily available. A big thanks and gratitude to our wonderful hosts! The location is a serene paradise; when you stroll out in the morning you see peacocks and monkeys, and in the evening you can sup a cold beer and watch the forest colors change from green to purple to black. It’s a magical place. The food was amazing and the full day safari they arranged for us was superb. The hospitality of Aryun and team was unrivaled. You can book with one of the incredibly expensive places that come up first on google, or you can book with Wild Wadi Wilpattu and have a more personal experience for half the price.

Guests at the bed and breakfast will be able to enjoy activities in and around Kalpitiya, like walking tours. Guests can also relax in the garden, beside the pool with a view, or on the sun terrace. Quiet place surrounded by lush greenery, with few rooms only and with beautiful view of the lagoon. Staff are very nice and helpful, food is amazing. Take a dinner with them, no many options in town!

For your comfort, you will find slippers and free toiletries. The food was delicious - great breakfast and dinners including fresh seafood. The staff were super friendly - especially Sunil and Telan! A great place to escape from the busy world for a while.
