We had a fantastic 4-day stay at Soluna Beach Resort! This place is perfect for families, and the staff goes the extra mile to ensure comfort. Our kids loved the pool, especially with the inflatable toys provided. The resort also treated us with free afternoon snacks and complimentary bottled water every day. The attention to detail and family-friendly atmosphere made it a memorable stay. We highly recommend it for families looking for a relaxing beach getaway! The even let us stay in the room for free until the evening before our flight.

This is a little paradise. A big pool and lovely private chalets, right on the river which you can kayak down. Its fabulous! You're surrounded by jungle, and the food for amazing. Really loved it. The staff were friendly and sweet and we couldn't have asked for better during our last few days in Sri Lanka. This is expensive for Sri Lanka but its definitely worth it.

Really cool tree house rooms on the peninsula. The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. I can absolutely recommend this place. Shibi, Dinesh & the team make sure that you have everything you need, without being to pushy. I extended my stay, because I felt so relaxed and comfortable here. The food is great :)

We had an amazing stay at Elegant Hamlets Home Stay, an absolute true gem with serene surroundings for relaxing, extremely modern, spacious and built to Western and European standards, the Hosts Sherine and Chamara are extremely friendly and helpful and makes you feel welcome and right at home. The jetted pool is nothing short of your own private little oasis, the home meals are absolutely delightful, the facilities are outstanding and include a well equipped beautiful outdoor kitchen area beside the villa, water, coffee and tea facilities are readily available in the villa. While we had a dialog tourist phone plan, we found the in house wifi to be very fast and reliable.This was our favourite homestay in Sri Lanka and we highly recommend this Homestay. Side note; google street view map is outdated, the area and roads are very good and built up, tuk tuk’s and PickMe are readily available. A big thanks and gratitude to our wonderful hosts! Fantastic place to stay for so many reasons. The hotel itself feels really like a safari camp with wild animals and birds all around, there are monkeys and squirrels in the gardens. Each room is very private down a small path from the main dining room. The rooms are absolutely huge and wonderfully decorated. They have a large comfortable more-than-double bed and are well equipped with a fridge, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, hot and cold shower, tea and coffee making facilities, towels and robe. The room had huge windows overlooking the forest and its own private terrace and plunge pool perfect for cooling off after a long day. We had a sri lankan style breakfast which was delicious and we ate 2 nights at the hotel. I would highly recommend the seafood bbq, so much yummy food! The hotel is situated perfectly for safari as it is right next to the entrance to the national park so only 2 minutes in the tuktuk to get to the entrance. They packed us breakfast, lunch and snacks. Priyashantha joined us for the day and was fantastic at taking us to the best places to spot the wildlife. He brought along binoculars and books to show us the birds and animals we had seen. The jeep itself has a roof to keep cool in the heat of the day on the full day safari. I would highly recommend the friendly and caring staff, the beautiful peaceful surroundings and the very comfortable rooms.

The property has a wide park and offers beautiful lagoon views. The restaurant is excellent, and we recommend choosing half board (breakfast and dinner), as it was the best food we had during our three-week trip in Sri Lanka and there are very limited options to eat in Kalpitiya. The staff were very kind and helpful, with a special mention to our waiter, Ahamed, who was attentive throughout our stay. The staff also helped us organize activities nearby, including a lagoon boat tour and kitesurfing lessons.

One of our favourite places in a 4 week trip, a quick kayak ( they have plenty to borrow) to the nicest beach we’ve seen in Sri Lanka, empty apart from a few kite surfers The lagoon is beautiful and the food at the hotel the best in our trip, every meal was absolutely stunning top restaurant quality There’s a roof top bar to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun set, the staff were incredible and welcoming We don’t kite surf but still really enjoyed our stay , there are not a lot of rooms so felt very relaxed The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated
