A perfect place to stay for our first night in sri lanka The newly built hotel was beautiful with each bedroom overlooking the palm fringed beach and the ocean. We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

Very accommodating couple runs the Hotel, they upgraded me without extra charges to make me stay in the room closer to the room of my sister; they were arranging the taxi drivers as per our requests; advising us for the places to see; Their kitchen is very clean, you better eat at this hotel than somewhere outside

This is a little paradise. A big pool and lovely private chalets, right on the river which you can kayak down. Its fabulous! You're surrounded by jungle, and the food for amazing. Really loved it. The staff were friendly and sweet and we couldn't have asked for better during our last few days in Sri Lanka. This is expensive for Sri Lanka but its definitely worth it.

The resort was so calm and surrounded by beautiful trees, a perfect place to relax your mind. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They even provided free bicycles that guests could use, which made exploring the area enjoyable. I truly loved the hours I spent at this resort. It’s worth more than the money I paid

This charming, nature-inspired resort offers a perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and authentic Sri Lankan hospitality. The resort is located right at a stunning lagoon, providing a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. While the long, sandy beaches are about a 20-minute drive away, getting there is easy with a driver arranged by the resort, as ride-hailing apps like PickMe don’t always work in the area. The beaches are untouched, with no hotels around, making them perfect for a quiet swim or a long, peaceful walk. If you visit in March, the weather is hot and humid, with calm waves ideal for swimming. However, from December to February, this area is a famous destination for kite surfers and surfers. One of the highlights of our stay was the free access to stand-up paddleboards (SUP) and kayaks, allowing us to explore the lagoon in the early morning or late afternoon when the temperature was cooler. The resort also offers bicycles for rent for free, making it easy to explore the surroundings at your own pace. The small pool in the garden was another unique feature. The ground around the pool is covered in soft sand, so you can walk barefoot, giving a real island vibe to the experience. It’s a perfect spot to cool off and relax after a day of activities. We stayed in a beautifully designed cottage that was both clean and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning to ensure a restful sleep. The most unforgettable part of our accommodation was the outdoor shower under the palm trees. At first, I was a little unsure about showering outside, but the lighting, privacy, and clean and natúral temperature water made it an incredible experience—one of the best showers I’ve ever had, right under the open sky! Since the resort is surrounded by nature, you’ll hear the sounds of various animals, making you feel as if you’re deep in the jungle.

We had a very nice stay at wild Wadi Wilpattu, Manori helped us to book transport for a good price, she organize a safari in wilpattu, even though the guide wasn't very informative, we had a nice day in the park, and saw a lot of birds and animals. We had a evening boat trip in the lagoon, saw 2 old baobab trees, but only few birds, but a nice sundown. Manori drove us to our next destination, we had nuts, curd and juice from king coconut on the way, and she was very nice and informative, the price for the tour was very fair.

The team of luna laguna tried everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They even brought some stuff from the market especially for our kids, hung up a swing and picked some coconuts for them to drink. They also helped with all the transfers and tours. The food was exceptional and every day they served a different breakfast. We would definitely stay here again :)

The food was delicious - great breakfast and dinners including fresh seafood. The staff were super friendly - especially Sunil and Telan! A great place to escape from the busy world for a while.
