We arrived very late at night, but the team went above and beyond to ask for a late dinner for us also which was really thoughtful and much appreciated. room is extremely spacious, with a large washroom that gives the feeling of staying in a private villa. The sea view from the room is breathtaking and truly adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was another highlight we requested a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast, and they prepared it beautifully. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well presented. The staff are genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. A special mention goes to Nishantha, who gave us incredible support throughout our stay and made us feel very well taken care of. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations with its comfort, hospitality, and beautiful setting. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

We felt taken care of from the minute we got there till the minute we left, our room was amazing, and after riding our bikes 35 km up the coast, we can honestly say that it’s the nicest hotel from Negombo to the end of our ride. Stay here!! Another big bonus: I had a bad cold and the owner made sure I get medicine which worked like a charm. Thank you so much!!

Really cool tree house rooms on the peninsula. The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. We had the most incredible stay at Anawasal in Kalpitiya! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a little slice of paradise. The atmosphere was so peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were gorgeous – spacious, clean, and with such a lovely rustic vibe that really makes you feel close to nature. Waking up to those views was just amazing. We loved how many activities there were to choose from. Kitesurfing was a definite highlight – the instructors were fantastic and made the whole experience so much fun. The yoga classes were also such a great way to relax and unwind after an active day. And the food – wow! Every meal was packed with fresh, local ingredients and full of flavor. They were so accommodating with dietary preferences too, which made everything so easy. What really stood out to us was how much they care about sustainability and supporting the local community. It’s not just a beautiful place to stay; it feels like you’re part of something meaningful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a unique, relaxing, and adventure-filled getaway, we can’t recommend Anawasal enough!

I had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The apartment is cozy, and the pool access with a private area and garden adds to the charm. It’s a peaceful and comfortable place. The hosts, Nerantha and his wife, are fantastic, they make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The food is delicious, prepared and served with love and passion.

We had the best time staying at Wild Wadi Wilpattu. The property is located about 5 - 10 minutes from the Wilpattu park entrance which not only means you can easily book a safari but you also experience some incredible wild life just steps outside your door. We cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and so accommodating. It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!

Location was tranquil and beautiful. The food was also AMAZING. Delicious and generous portions. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The building itself is also lovely and our room felt very luxurious.
