I paid slightly north of 120 usd for a night and loved it. Loved the pool. Loved the fact that they faced the Indian Ocean (no they don’t own the beach but u can access the beach front from the hotel and for that matter no one is on the beach anyways). Very welcoming staff reminding u off your meals for the next days .

Great design. It’s such a luxury experience to have a room by the beach. The view inside the room is already like a movie. Direct beach access. Great and wild beach. Staff catering to you every need from managing lagoon trip, portion island diving to money exchange. Great food. Beachside BBQ at night is such a wonderful experience. Justifiable price.

The food and juices were all incredible and the eggplant pasta in particular was one of the best meals I've had in a while! The staff were so friendly and accomodating and the manager always went out of his way to get us what we needed. It had the most adorable and friendly resident cats and a rly nice pool to lay by. I really enjoyed my stay there, felt very relaxed and pampered and would definitely return if I visit the area again.

The resort is literally right on your 'own' beach. That is the magic of the place. It is exceptionally quiet and a great place to relax and unwind. We stayed in early October 'low season' and it was total bliss! There were limited bookings and the restaurant was great. We often had breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday and at an affordable price. The actual facilities are in need of some/or a lot of attention. It is only 13 years old and some elements need to be fixed. They did have excellent satellite TV with over 100+ stations to keep you amused if so be. The resort is somewhat remote but a 10 minute taxi ride gets you into Trincomalee. (Not that there is a lot to do there!)
