Dar Shâan is perfectly situated to explore the interesting city of Rabat. You are right inside the Medina with lots of nice eateries, cafes and small shops but as well close to all the sights, city centre, tram stops. The welcome to the Dar was extremely friendly. The Dar itself is gorgeous, very well maintained and immaculately clean. My room was very comfy and in my bed I slept like in heaven. I did not use the pool on the roof but this is a nice bonus, very much so for kids. I loved it that there were wonderful books available and sitting outside my room and looking at those books was great. Breakfast was fantastic. It was allegedly served from 8:00 am. On the day of my departure I sneaked to the breakfast room at 7:30 in the hope to grab a quick coffee as I had to leave early for my train - and the whole breakfast was already served! That was so lovely. The nice woman even hurried to pour me fresh orange juice. The entire staff was just wonderful and so, so nice. Every night they brought me a glass of tasty Moroccan white wine up to my room on the top floor. I would defo recommend staying at Dar Shâan while visiting Rabat.

Probably the best hotel experience ever, in any country that we have visited. The staff is wonderful, attentive and friendly. They remembered not just our last name, which is common at any hotel, but our first names as well. They remembered small details such as how we would take our tea or coffee and detailed dining preferences, which is remarkable given our stay was only three nights. A shining compliment to the unseen staff in the kitchen is also necessary. The team there prepared one of the most sumptuous, elaborate, traditional Moroccan buffets that we have ever tasted. Even though it was the evening meal for us, it was the traditional breakfast for many of the guests who were celebrating Ramadan. With the live music and the celebratory atmosphere by both the staff and guests alike, we dined with them every evening and still were unable to sample all of the unbelievable culinary delights that they had prepared. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

From the warm welcome at reception to the impeccable room service, every detail was meticulously taken care of. The valets, as well as the restaurant staff at La Brise and L'Oursin, were professional and courteous, making our dining experiences delightful. Additionally, the pool staff were attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time by the water. The breakfast buffet was copious, offering a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes, complemented by the magnificent view from the dining area. Special mention goes to the floral decorations and all the preparations made in our room to mark our special occasion. These thoughtful touches made our stay truly memorable. Overall, our experience at Conrad Arzana Rabat was exceptional, and we look forward to returning in the future.

This Riad has everything ypu could wish including the most wonderful Baobab incense when entering the main entrance. The rooftop swimming pool has outstanding views and the service is incredible. The sweetest caring staff. Worth every penny more than the (much more) expwnsive Marriott or Four Seasons. While it’s a pedestrian area it’s really easy to reach by taxi and a few minutes on foot. We’ll go back asap.

Friendly and welcoming hosts. Stunning decor. The rooms were immaculate, and the decor was traditional but modern. Very tastefully done. Roof terrace and communal space were relaxing. Breakfast was unbelievable and will keep you going for the day. I would highly recommend this riad.

The property was well equipped with everything we needed. Plus there is a supermarket near by. The water pressure was good and the bed was comfortable. Sunbeds were an added bonus although it was mainly overcast while we were there unfortunately. The host was on hand if needed and was very helpful.
