This campsite is located far from anything else which makes it feel like you’re the only ones in a 100km radius 🤩 we loved the look and feel of the wide-open space this place provided. The owner also has amazing biltong for sale and they provided great tips and input to continue our way through Namibia. We were pointed in the direction of orange river, which was such an impressive part of the country!! Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Very friendly staff, facilities are really good, it’s nice and quiet over here so you can really rest. You can either decide to have a meal in the restaurant or make use of the braai area. Cottages are well equipped and A/C works perfect!

This was by far one of our best accommodaties in Namibia. Excellent homemade food. Very friendly personeel. Good bedding. Very clean. Remarcable point coffee all day long available from the machine. Good wifi.

great lodge, very nicely and sustainably built into the natural surroundings, impressive historic main building, the cottages are beautifully nestled into the surrounding landscape, fantastic large pool with great view, also very good food in the restaurant!

With garden views, Gondwana Canyon Roadhouse is set in Stamprivier and has a restaurant, an ATM, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Free WiFi is offered.

We came across Canyon Roadhouse a few years ago and stopped to enjoy lunch here. We loved the 1940s/1950s American Dinner theme of Canyon Roadhouse. On our return trip this year, my husband insisted we book in and spend a night. We arrived late in the afternoon after visiting the nearby Fish River Canyon and were shown to our beautifully decorated and clean room. My expectations of what the room would be like, was pleasantly exceeded. We enjoyed a good dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a good night sleep. Wake early to catch the sunrise over the nearby mountains - the colours are spectacular. After a hearty breakfast, we hit the road to our next destination. Would not hesitate to stay here again and can recommend Canyon Roadhouse to other travelers. (Camping facilities are also available).
